Comfort command

When he thought she is never going to stop, he caught her both hands and pulled her into his arms. He wrapped his arms tightly around her so that she would stop struggling. Unconsciously he is hugging her, which he didn't realise until after he did.

Riley wanted to pull herself free from his hold and beat him up some more. But his hold is stronger and he is holding her tightly so that she couldn't wiggle out of his hold. Her wolf is happy to stay in her mate's arms, but Riley is not so much.

"Let me go asshole" she demanded angrily.

Carter sighed.

"I will if you promise to stop hitting me" he replied calmly. He can take punches from a more strong warrior than Riley. But he is worried that she might hurt herself. He is already guilty of ruining her life. He doesn't want her to physically injure herself as well.

And moreover, she is his mate. Their bond will always pull them closer and will not let the other to stay quiet when one of them is hurt or sad.
