David on the other hand is on his hands and knees in the middle of the forest, which is a little farther away from the Blue Moon pack. He thought Carter would come after him and he planned to kill his son with the help of his allies because he understood it's not easy to defeat his son alone. But his plan failed and Carter never bothered to come after him.

What is more shocking is that now David turned into a rogue. He could feel the emptiness in his mind as all of his pack members began to disconnect from him and get connected to Carter. As wolves are pack beings, they like to live in packs and need an Alpha for guidance.

David cannot feel anyone. The thought that his son turned him into a rogue is a sour pill to swallow.

"It cannot be. He cannot turn me into a rogue. Me, the might David Black can never turn into a homeless pathetic rogue wolf" he growled.

He never gave much credit to Carter. After defeating him a decade ago, David thought his son is a mouse just like his mother.
