2024-10-29 19:42:56I noticed over the next few days that during small down times of the day Emrys would sneak off only to come back moments later, not even gone ten seconds and he’d be back. At first I thought he was texting someone or even a phone call, but sometimes his phone would be left right where he had placed it and while me and Cassandra didn’t think anything was wrong, I wanted to double check.
The next time Emrys excused himself, I too stood and followed him after a quick second had passed only to see him standing in the hallway with what looked like to be a crumpled piece of paper in his hand and a pen in the other.
“Emrys,” I must have startled him because as soon as my voice sounded, my mate jumped and almost dropped the pen. “You okay?”
