AEGON'S P.O.V.
“For the last time Dagna stay out of this problem!” I yelled at her and she folded her arms with a frown on her face.
“I'm trying so hard not to intervene, but look at it from my perspective. Your parents hate me, your father precisely can't even stand my presence and ever since she went missing you don't even spare me a glance!”
“I'm trying my best to get her back, so we can live a happy life.”
“You don't seem to want me anymore, you are irritated by everything I do every day, I can barely touch your hand without you being angry.” I let out a sigh knowing that she was telling the truth, but honestly, everyone irritates me these days.
“I'm sorry about that, I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.”
“That's what you said the last time.” She stood up from the balcony's chair and covered herself with a duvet on the bed.
I knew she wanted to be alone, and I left the room entirely for her. Dagna has been nothing but a pain in the ass ever since Ingrid went missing and my father made it the worst by constantly telling her she isn't wanted in the family.
Only I had the right to make that decision as I was the Alpha, but of course, he doesn't listen to me or any commandments I give, I needed to talk to him about how he treats Dagna as it is utterly unacceptable.
A part of me wanted to see Ingrid safe, but the goddess knew I didn't care one bit. I stopped in my tracks as I saw my parents having a heated conversation downstairs.
“Dagna cannot be living under this roof. She brings nothing to the family, she isn't fit to be a mate or a Luna to this pack and your stupid son is yet to realize that.”
“He is your son as well. Kane, you need to calm down, I understand you hate the poor child but can you give her a chance?”
“A chance? Vimon we both know the reason Dagna is here is not because she loves Aegon or has the intention of being a good Luna. It's just because of the money, the fame, and nothing else."
“I wished he had picked Ingrid. Dagna isn't fit for all this.”
“Aegon is blinded by his wants and always neglects his needs. You have welcomed Dagna here and honestly, if she tries to take Ingrid's place here I'll make sure she's dead.”
“Kane.”
“Enough!” I growled at both of them in anger and they both looked at me.
“Son, stay out of…"
“Stay out of what mum? You both sit and decide my future and regard my girlfriend as a gold-digger as though I am not alive, how can I keep shut?”
“Do not speak to your mother that way!” I let out a laugh.
“Oh really, now you're offended. That's precisely how I feel when you insult the woman I love. We owe Ingrid a lot, but I will not lower my standards for an Omega because…"
“Enough!” My mum slapped me hard across the face and I tasted blood in my mouth. “One more word from you about her, and I'll make sure Dagna never sees the next sunset.”
“But mum.”
“I didn't raise you to be disrespectful to your parents, especially over some cheap girl. We know damn well you did something to Ingrid to make her leave, and you will go out there and bring her to this house, but until then I would rather not see your face.”
“Where am I supposed to say?”
“You would have thought of that before you decided to misbehave.”
“I am your Alpha.”
“And I gave birth to you, get out of this house.”
“Mum….”
“I said get out!”
******
“Hey, watch it!” An old man yelled as I stepped out of the way.
Humans and their stupid behavior. I shrugged it off and put my hands inside my pockets, it's been two months, and she's still nowhere to be found. I haven't seen anyone in my family and honestly all I wanted to do was go home, but mum was serious about kicking me out.
“Alpha, we found her.” I stopped in my tracks as one of the pack warriors mind linked me.
“Where? Where is she?”
“In a coffee shop close to the city's coast, but we can't take her.”
“What? Why?” I furrowed my eyebrows confused and I could see the looks people were giving me as they walked by, but I could barely care about that.
“You might want to see that for yourself”
“I'm on my way.” Theo sounded worried and it's so unlike his what could he have seen that made him so worried?
Ingrid had always loved that coffee shop, and it wasn't a shock that he found her there, which only meant she lived in the human world all this time.
Walking into the car, I drove as fast as I could, ignoring the traffic warning I was getting as I had no time for that. I needed to get her back to the pack for my parent's sake and I finally had the freedom of living.
“Theo, where are you guys?” I mind linked him.
“In front of the shop, she's inside and she seems to be working here.”
“What's the big deal of not being able to take her?”
“Like I said Alpha, it's better you see it yourself.”
I drove out of the traffic and made my way to the shop and I saw them standing in front. The moment I got there I looked at them.
“Where is she?”
“She's inside, Alpha.” I looked around and realized Theo wasn't here, but I'll take care of him later.
Opening the door, I looked around the shop as it was swamped with people, which was so unusual but that wasn't my concern.
“Can I help you, sir?” A petite woman asked as she looked at me with a smile.
“I'm looking for Ingrid.” She looked at me curiously before pointing towards a woman in a wheelchair.
My eyes widened as I noticed that she was heavily pregnant, and I became raged. I spent three months looking for her, and she was out here sleeping with humans and even getting pregnant.
“Ingrid.” She looked at me and her eyes widened in shock.
“How did you find me?”
“The better question is, how many men have you slept with?”
INGRID'S P.O.V.“I… Argh!?” I screamed as I felt a piercing plane in my abdomen and my dress felt wet. "… My… My water just broke.” His eyes widened as I tried to reach for his hand. “Aegon please.” Tears rolled down my eyes as the pain increased. “It's not your water, it's blood” He mumbled, and my eyes widened “... Theo!!” He yelled and the door immediately flew open. “I…" I trailed off as I felt another wave of pain and the blood oozed from my inside, causing me to scream. “Hold on.” They carried me to a car and as Theo took the wheels, Aegon held my hand while trying his best to subside the pain I felt, but it was of no use.“Quit rub… Rubbing my belle, it hurts!” I cried out and he immediately pulled his hand away.My body felt drained and weak, looking towards Aegon I realized he was biting his nails like he does when he was worried, and I reached for his hand.“I'll be fine.” My head felt light as his mouth moved, but I couldn't air a word that he was saying and the last thi
DAGNA'S P.O.V.I looked at the chaos happening in the room and I slowly left and pain pierced my heart. All my hard work for the past few months was gone in just a blink of an eye."Dagna." His voice made me freeze.“Don't you dare, call my name.”“Dagna, please listen to me, I can fix this.”“Fix this? You cheated on me with her, hell. You even have a child with her, and you dare to speak of fixing, I do not want anything from you Aegon. We are done.”“Dagna please.” I turned around and left the hospital and immediately headed towards the woods as I ran as fast as I could in tears. I sat beside the lake as I quietly cried, and my body went cold as I heard a branch crack behind me. I turned around and came face to face with the man who had caused the fire that killed Ingrid's parents years ago and wanted to kill Aegon's parents, which made me sigh in relief.“Oh, it's just you, Dad.”“What are you doing here? You're meant to be with Argon and his family.”“I broke up with him. He has
What do you want now? You've finally gotten what you wished for, Dagna is out of this house!” “Watch your tone, Aegon!” Dad growled at me, and I fought the urge to roll my eyes as I looked at him. “Watch my tone? You both have always wanted me to be mated to Ingrid, well you got your wish, but I didn't get mine, let's face it, the pack is never going to accept that their Luna is a weak Omega…"“Cut it out, son!”“Oh now it hurts? You finally feel how I feel? Dagna is gone because of you, both, and now I'm stuck to a woman I do not love. I made a mistake, I know it, but we both don't even want to be together. What's the big deal if we separate?”“The big deal is that baby."“We aren't even sure that the baby is mine! She could literally be lying right now…"“Only an Alpha's baby can be carried for three months, you idiot! Listen to me Aegon I have had enough of your stupidity. You will be a good father and mate to both of them, just as your father said earlier, do not let myself or y
DAGNA'S P.O.V.My heart heavier with each breath I took as I thought about the first time I met him. Though I had the plan of getting his attention and deriving the answers I needed but for some dumb reason I could never bring myself to do it.Dad had sent me on an errand that would have made me a Luna by now, but I messed up and fell in love, hell! I even tried to get pregnant for this man, but he cheated on me with his mate.My heart burns for Aegon. I have no doubt about that, but what he had done had not only left me heartbroken, it had also made me get Dad angrier than he has ever been. I knew he was still angry that his mate abandoned him for another man, yet I reminded him of her. It was bad enough that I was the spitting image of her, perhaps that was the reason he never showed he loved me. He saw her in me every time he looked at me. “Young lady, you aren't allowed to go there.” I stopped in my tracks as I heard a man's voice and I turned to look on at a warrior walking tow
INGRID'S P.O.V.Placing Theo gently in his crib, I walked towards the balcony to get a rest. It was eight in the morning and I felt so exhausted, Theo kept me up all night while Aegon was nowhere to be found, yet they expect us to live like this forever. It was almost time for breakfast, but, like always, I'll have it upstairs. I didn't enjoy sitting at the table or talking to anyone anymore. I heard the door open, but I didn't bother to turn, knowing it was the maid who usually bought my food for me.“Ingrid.” I froze in my spot as I heard Vimon's voice. I turned around to look at her still standing by the door, and she walked inside before closing the door and I knew damn well that I wasn't going to hear the end of this.“Theo is asleep.”“I'm not here for Theo, come and have breakfast with us.”“Look, I appreciate your concern about me, but honestly, I just want to be here all alone.”“It's not a request Ingrid, get dressed and come downstairs to join us.”“I'm not…"“What Aegon
DAGNA'S P.O.V.“Oh my God!” I breathed out as he rolled out of bed and began to wear his clothes, “... Come on, wouldn't you stay a little bit?” I whined, but he chuckled in response as he sat next to me with his pants in. “I don't have the Intention of leaving. I've finally gotten you back even if it's been two weeks. I missed you so much.” He kissed my forehead.“Aegon, we need to do something about Ingrid. Look, I know your parents gave a rule, but if we want to be together always we need to get rid of her.”“We can't do anything about her. My parents are a real pain in the ass and I know exactly how you feel, hell seeing her everyday makes me so annoyed that I can barely control it, sometimes I have to lash out for her to get away from me.”“But you're the Alpha of the pack, you can't let your parents boss you around.”“It's because of Theo, I want my son here but not her as my Luna, I want you to be my Luna.”“Poisoning her is the best solution I can think of.”“We are not doing
INGRID'S P.O.V.I picked up Theo from his crib to check for injuries for any such, and felt a sense of relief when I saw nothing. She had the nerve to threaten me, every bit of my body wanted to kill her, but I knew too well that if I did Aegon would be after my head and I won't be able to take care of the baby.“Ingrid, come downstairs.” I heard Aegon say the moment he opened the door, but I didn't look back at him.“No.”“This isn't a request, I'm ordering you to come downstairs.”“You have no right to ask me to do whatever you want, I'm not coming downstairs and that's final!” I snapped at him, which made Theo cry out. “Ingrid, Theo needs some breathing space! He has been here twenty-four hours of the day ever since he was born and keeping him locked in here all the time might do him harm, I don't give a damn about you but let the child live while we can fight all our lives for all I care. I'm going down and if I don't see you downstairs within fifteen minutes, I assure you, you w
AEGON'S P.O.V.I would be lying if I said I didn't hate the sight of Ingrid right now, why doesn't she get the fact that she's wrong about everything and how her stupid decision was the reason we are all in this mess in the first place. “Where are you going?” I heard mum's voice from the garden as I passed.“I have some work in the pack. Dad Theo's pants are the other way round.” He smiled at me.which just made me chuckle as I turned away.My parents were happy being with Theo, but they were slowly seeing the kind of person Ingrid really is. They might have taken her as their daughter but once an Omega, always an Omega. Walking into the pack, I saw children laughing around and Elders to before walking towards the woods that lead towards the north side of the pack and I saw the house I was looking for.“Aegon?” I heard Dagna's voice. “Ah! Just the person I was looking for.”“You aren't meant to be here. My father is in the house, what are you even doing here to begin with?” She frow

The CelebrationIngrid's point of view“ What do you mean you're not coming?” Vimon thundered from where she stood in front of my closet, glaring at me as I put finishing touches on Theo's outfit. It was a good thing she couldn't shoot beams out of her eyes, because with the glares she had been sending my way for the past quarter of an hour, I would be as charred as the outside of a medium rare steak by now.“Just like I've told you already, I'm not coming down for the celebration or party, whichever it is,” I repeated for the third time in fifteen hours.“But why???” She cried. Finally finished with getting Theo dressed, I pressed my lips to his head in a soft kiss, picked him up and turned to face his grandmother, saying;“ I already told you Vimon.”“ Humor me, tell me again,” she declared, plucking Theo from my arms and smiling at him as he gurgled and kicked his legs in the air.“ First off,” I said in reply, counting off my fingers.“ Theo's the one who's being honored,he doesn

Nico's point of view“ I assume there was no one behind you,” Ingrid cut in.“And you would be right,” I said smiling as I recalled the memory.“She took a boy wearing blood-covered clothes home, introduced him to her husband, sat him at her kitchen table, fixed him a quick meal, then drew him a bath and dug out some old clothes for him to wear,” I continued.“ Years later both she and Levin would tell me that they had known I was coming, some kind of unexplainable feeling when they woke up earlier that morning that made them understand they would have a guest in the cause of the day, and when I showed up, they both recounted feeling an unexplainable urge to take me in and do what they could for me, and they did just that.” “ For the first week, I don't think I did anything but eat and sleep, neither of them asked me any questions, not even my name.”“ They sound like amazing people,” Ingrid said.“ They were,” I assured her.“And they loved me, so much that they were willing to giv
