Ten thousand seven hundred and eighty-seven. There were 10787 blades of grass where I was sitting, and no it wasn’t the entire field but, in the circle, I had made around me. The afternoon passed as they practised and planned for the celebration. While I sat around, watching, sighing, and counting grass blades.

“Hey!” A joyous voice chirped, and I turned my eyes around to see Luna Sigrún. My wolf snarled at her site, but I forced a smile.

“Hello, Luna.” I greeted and she sat down beside me.

“What are you doing here?” She asked and I looked away trying to ignore my wolf’s boiling rage.

“Nothing, just passing time,” I replied and she nodded her head, falling silent.

“I just returned from my father's pack and heard the news.” She went off and sighed. “There will be a little wolf playing around soon.” She continued and I nodded my head. Sigrún fell silent again.

“I can’t wait to be a mother as well. Erdem and I are looking forward to our own blessings.” My head shot at her as she smiled
