“Nesta?” consciousness slowly pulled into me to the gentle shaking of Anxo. “Wake up. We are here.” His voice was gentle as he tried to wake me up. It was dark and quiet as if nothing had changed. I opened the door and stepped inside, feeling a surge of nostalgia. My room was exactly as I had left it, with my bed, my dresser, my books, my pictures, and my plants. There were fresh flowers on the vases around my room. When I opened my eyes the next day, the sun was brightly sitting on the sky. My body was aching and the little wolf in my belly was more than excited as he moved around and kicked. I smiled as I stepped into my precious garden. The warmth of the sun on my skin, and the gentle breeze in my hair felt so familiar. I knew I would miss this place if I ever went away, but the way I yearned to be here doesn’t come close to what I had thought I would feel.
