Dominic's POV

As much as Brielle had paid her vow to keep Killian safe from the wolf bane with me, I still wanted to continue the intimate act with her.

"I guess he's trying to connect with his wolves," I said and Brielle came closer to me. She knew what next I would be thinking of.

"Don't," she said and her forehead creased, "please don't."

"Don't do what?" I asked, as she lowered her gaze and knelt before Killian, staring at him pitifully
