The sun was barely rising over Silverware Pack territory, the pack was already bubbling with activities, but inside the small house, the tension and gloom was very thick in the air. Alexander stood in the dim room, his hands running through his hair in frustration. His sisters, Emma and Emily, were glaring at him, the weight of their anger pressing down on him like a physical force.

“I did what I had to do, Emily,” Alexander said, his voice soft but pleading, his eyes searching for understanding.

“You betrayed Cara!” Emily shouted, her voice cracking with fury. She held Emma tightly, who was already crying. “You betrayed our only friend, brother. Our only friend!”

Alexander flinched at her words. He had never seen Emily so upset, and the sight of Emma's tears made him feel like the worst person in the world. He wanted to explain, to make them see why he had done what he did, but the words wouldn’t come.

"I... I did it to protect us," Alexander muttered, more to himself than to them

Caras pov I sat in the corner of the room, staring at the dim light filtering through the window. My mind was numb, my body exhausted. I had no strength left, not after everything that had happened. Brian had rejected me again for the second time, and this time, it felt like my heart had been ripped from my chest. I couldn’t shake the feeling of his lips on mine, the heat of his touch. But then… he pulled away. Again. The bond between us, the connection that pulled me to him, was still there, taunting me with something I could never have. The silence in the room felt suffocating. I hadn’t moved for hours, still wearing the same clothes from when I returned. I didn’t even have the energy to cry anymore. I just sat there, empty, broken. Then, a soft knock came at the door. I didn’t respond. I didn’t have it in me to move, let alone open the door. A moment passed before the door slowly creaked open, and I heard soft footsteps approaching. I didn’t look up to see who had entered

I need the truth, Debby. I need to know who you are, what you know about me. I can’t…” My voice broke again, the tears returning. “I can’t handle the lies anymore.”Debby’s face softened, and she reached out, trying to pull me back into her arms, but I pulled away. I needed answers, not comfort.“Please, Debby,” I whispered, my voice desperate. “Don’t make this harder than it already is. Show me that I can trust you.”For a moment, she didn’t speak, her gaze dropping to the floor as if she was battling with herself. She sighed deeply. “I’m sorry if I’ve made you think I was being dishonest. I never wanted to deceive you.”Her words made my heart race.“My story wasn’t entirely true,” she said, and my pulse quickened. She continued slowly, “Not that it was false, but there are things I didn’t tell you. Cara’s POVThe loud shouting and smell of sweat filled the training house. It is a big structure where training sessions are held in Brian's pack.I glared at Garreth as he moved around me, correcting my stance once again with the evil smirk on his face that I could have given anything to wipe off his face. His cold gaze never left me as he picked up fault upon faults in every few seconds, igniting my anger the more. You want to survive? You want to protect yourself?" His voice grated on my nerves. "You need to focus. Resist distractions and stop letting your emotions control you."I trembled, not from fear, but from the rage building inside me. The image of Alexander flashed in my mind, his severed hand, the agony on his face, the fear in his eyes, and the hopelessness in the pack members’ faces. because of this man. A lot of things have gone wrong in my life. Garreth’s words were like a mockery. Who was he to talk about survival and control? He was a butcher, Brian's loyal dog."

Pain exploded through me, but I refused to back down. I launched a wild attack, hoping to land a hit, but she dodged it effortlessly, making me stumble. The loud laugh of the crowd, reached my ears, making my ears tinge red with embarrassment, "Get up," Garreth’s voice rang out, cold and unforgiving. "Or don’t. Your choice." Cara's pov The moment I stepped into the Den, I was completely dumbfounded. This wasn’t just some hidden hangout spot in the woods. It was a full-on club. In a rogue pack! Music boomed from hidden speakers, the bass so deep I could feel it in my bones. Neon lights flashed overhead, casting the room in an eerie glow. Rogues were dancing, drinking, laughing, like this was some normal Saturday night at a club. But this wasn’t normal. Not even close. I glanced at Mark, who looked way too young to even be in here, much less drinking. How the hell had he even gotten in? And why had no one, not Garreth or Debby, ever mentioned this place to me? It was right under my nose, yet I had no idea something like this existed in the rogue pack. Maybe it was meant to stay hidden. But why? It was just a normal club, and everybody was having a good time. The only difference was that the booze here seemed more concentrated than the one in the bar, but that couldn’t be the reason why nobody ever told

Cara's POVThe piercing sound of the war drum echoed through the air, sending chills down my spine. All around me, the arena descended into chaos. Brian stood tall, unwavering, his piercing gaze scanning the scene with the sharpness of a predator. The once vibrant faces of the Mafian pack, the people who had gathered for what should have been a resolution to Jules’ rebellion, were now etched with fear and determination.A sudden cry rang out. That was the shout of war acceptance. Warriors and rogues in their wolf form. streamed into the clearing, their weapons glinting in the dim light. I instinctively moved closer to Brian, my heart pounding as adrenaline coursed through my veins. Garreth’s arrival with Brian’s elite warriors was supposed to have tipped the balance, but fate had other plans. Emerging from the shadows like a tidal wave, enemy forces flooded the arena, their banners bearing the mark of the Council. And another symbol I can not make out. Like a sign of three wolves inte

Cara’s POVThe pressure and immense tension that fell over the arena was so thick it could be cut with a knife. At the center of it all stood Elder Jules, his signature smug grin plastered on his face, his arrogance radiating as strongly as the midday sun. He carried himself like an untouchable monarch, reveling in his perceived invincibility.I clenched my fists, forcing myself to meet his gaze. “This isn’t your pack, Jules. It’s Brian’s.”Jules chuckled, the sound cold and sharp, slicing through the fragile silence. “Slow down, young Omega. I am a respected elder of this pack. As such, I have every right to do what I am doing.”A collective intake of breath rippled through the gathered crowd, as though his words carried an unspoken threat. The elders, revered as symbols of wisdom and justice, held an unshakable authority. Even now, despite the undercurrent of fear, no one dared challenge him.“You’re sowing seeds of doubt and chaos,” I said, my voice steady even though anger churned

Cara povI wiped the sweat from my brow and sighed, leaning against the edge of Brian's bed. The clinic was quiet except for the faint rustling of leaves outside. It had been a week since Brian fell into a coma, it was like a gloomy veil covered the whole of mafians wolf pack. the pack had sunk into a gloomy, restless state. Cases of theft and robbery were a predominant situation these days. The once-unshakable Mafian Wolf Pack felt fractured, its foundation weakened without its Alpha. My gaze lingered on Brian’s face, pale and motionless, his strong frame looking smaller and more fragile than ever. I reached out, brushing a strand of hair from his forehead. “You’re stronger than this,” I whispered, my voice barely audible. “You always have been.”But no matter how many times I said those words, no matter how many sleepless nights I spent trying to heal him with the powers I had come to fear, nothing changed. My connection to him felt stronger, deeper, as though our very souls were intertwined, bound together by something neither of us could deny. I pressed my forehead gently against his fur, feeling the warmth of his battered body. “Come back to me,” I whispered again, tears streaming freely down my face.I closed my eyes, focusing on the bond between us, the bond that had always been there, even when we’d fought it, denied it, ignored it. Cara’s POVIt’s been two days since we returned to Mafian wolf pack, and I could feel the weight of hatred in every corner of the pack. The once warm smiles and nods of acknowledgment and reverence I once received before everything were replaced by cold glares and whispered insults. People stared at me with malice in their eyes, their disdain palpable.Even Debby, who had always been a source of comfort and guidance, was keeping her distance. I had not seen her since I came back, only sending in other nurses and maids to attend to me. The betrayal cut deep, and though I had the sisters, Emily and Emma, by my side when they weren’t busy, their absence was felt too. Emily was now a commander in mafian wolf pack as well as acting as a leader for her own people, she was burdened with responsibilities that kept her occupied, while Emma was often off with Siden, like two runaway lovers, their bond growing stronger each day.I tried to focus on small tasks to keep myself distracted in the ca
