Caras pov

I sat in the corner of the room, staring at the dim light filtering through the window. My mind was numb, my body exhausted. I had no strength left, not after everything that had happened. Brian had rejected me again for the second time, and this time, it felt like my heart had been ripped from my chest. I couldn’t shake the feeling of his lips on mine, the heat of his touch. But then… he pulled away. Again.

The bond between us, the connection that pulled me to him, was still there, taunting me with something I could never have.

The silence in the room felt suffocating. I hadn’t moved for hours, still wearing the same clothes from when I returned. I didn’t even have the energy to cry anymore. I just sat there, empty, broken.

Then, a soft knock came at the door.

I didn’t respond. I didn’t have it in me to move, let alone open the door. A moment passed before the door slowly creaked open, and I heard soft footsteps approaching. I didn’t look up to see who had entered

I need the truth, Debby. I need to know who you are, what you know about me. I can’t…” My voice broke again, the tears returning. “I can’t handle the lies anymore.”Debby’s face softened, and she reached out, trying to pull me back into her arms, but I pulled away. I needed answers, not comfort.“Please, Debby,” I whispered, my voice desperate. “Don’t make this harder than it already is. Show me that I can trust you.”For a moment, she didn’t speak, her gaze dropping to the floor as if she was battling with herself. She sighed deeply. “I’m sorry if I’ve made you think I was being dishonest. I never wanted to deceive you.”Her words made my heart race.“My story wasn’t entirely true,” she said, and my pulse quickened. She continued slowly, “Not that it was false, but there are things I didn’t tell you. Cara’s POVThe loud shouting and smell of sweat filled the training house. It is a big structure where training sessions are held in Brian's pack.I glared at Garreth as he moved around me, correcting my stance once again with the evil smirk on his face that I could have given anything to wipe off his face. His cold gaze never left me as he picked up fault upon faults in every few seconds, igniting my anger the more. You want to survive? You want to protect yourself?" His voice grated on my nerves. "You need to focus. Resist distractions and stop letting your emotions control you."I trembled, not from fear, but from the rage building inside me. The image of Alexander flashed in my mind, his severed hand, the agony on his face, the fear in his eyes, and the hopelessness in the pack members’ faces. because of this man. A lot of things have gone wrong in my life. Garreth’s words were like a mockery. Who was he to talk about survival and control? He was a butcher, Brian's loyal dog."

Cara Pov Lissa moved with the speed and precision of a trained warrior, and I, blinded by my anger, was slow to react. Her fist connected with my side, knocking the air out of my lungs. Pain exploded through me, but I refused to back down. I launched a wild attack, hoping to land a hit, but she dodged it effortlessly, making me stumble. The loud laugh of the crowd, reached my ears, making my ears tinge red with embarrassment, "Get up," Garreth’s voice rang out, cold and unforgiving. "Or don’t. Your choice." Shaking, I forced myself to block all the distractions. the world spinning around me. My pride had gotten me into this mess, and now I had to fight my way out of it. "You’re too slow," she muttered, her voice dripping with arrogance. The pity in her eyes was gone now. She was a warrior, and this was a fight. My heart pounded in my chest as I faced Lissa. The young rogue was smaller, quicker, and had that cold, calculating look in her eyes. Everyone was watching now, the

Cara pov The moment Garreth’s voice rang out, sharp and commanding, everything froze. My body, still buzzing with energy, stilled. My mind was spinning, trying to catch up. Lissa stopped too, her smug expression fading as she glanced at Garreth, clearly just as confused as I was. The crowd around us fell into an uneasy silence, the cheers and jeers dying down. Cara's pov The moment I stepped into the Den, I was completely dumbfounded. This wasn’t just some hidden hangout spot in the woods. It was a full-on club. In a rogue pack! Music boomed from hidden speakers, the bass so deep I could feel it in my bones. Neon lights flashed overhead, casting the room in an eerie glow. Rogues were dancing, drinking, laughing, like this was some normal Saturday night at a club. But this wasn’t normal. Not even close. I glanced at Mark, who looked way too young to even be in here, much less drinking. How the hell had he even gotten in? And why had no one, not Garreth or Debby, ever mentioned this place to me? It was right under my nose, yet I had no idea something like this existed in the rogue pack. Maybe it was meant to stay hidden. But why? It was just a normal club, and everybody was having a good time. The only difference was that the booze here seemed more concentrated than the one in the bar, but that couldn’t be the reason why nobody ever told

Caras pov The sound of my footsteps echoed throughout the quiet night. I have been running for what seemed like forever to me, but it won't have passed an hour. Yeah, I had slipped past the bad guys in the Den using Garreth teachings and training. I have escaped them. I sighed with relief. The mention of the name of the place almost made me puke at a corner. That place was an infested place, the proper name a slave market. I couldn’t imagine something like this could exist, and no one is talking about it, turning a blind eye as if it's normal. I looked around my surroundings, but now the moon was already half gone, signifying it's late in the night. I staggered like a drunkard. I struggled to get my bearings, but it was like everywhere was doubling in my eyes. I walked aimlessly and with nowhere to go, everywhere was devoid of people to ask for help. mafian wolf pack was a very big undeveloped pack, which means a lot of back alleys and hidden spots here and there. I remembered that I was led by a young trainee I met in the training ground to this mysterious place, where I had poked my nose where it shouldn't, my last memory being when Garreth stepped in to save me. From the looks of it, he had brought me back to the cabin, and brian is angry that his property was in bad shape. Sadly, that's what I was to him. I tried to lift myself, but a sharp pain told me that was a wrong idea, I screamed in pain, and the loud fighting happening outside the cabin came to a halt immediately. • Mated To The Rogue King   Chapter 136: new beginning

Cara’s povOne week later. The war was over. Derek and his cohorts have been defeated. And following his death His remaining warriors had fled seeing that their commander was gone.I was told that we chased them through the great woods, making sure that we weakened their forces, even as they fled deep inside the great woods. That was as good as dead, and because of that, we had stopped pursuing them. We were back to the east. Our home is currently in Brian's former pack. Everywhere was a beehive of activities as the pack was being rebuilt. From my position, I could see Garreth. His loyalty and dedication to his duty are worthy of commendation. He is directing some pack members on what to do.Also, there is Emily and Emma, with their mates. They have survived the war. They are in control of their people and together helping to rebuild the mafian wolf pack.“Enjoying the view” I turned, at the sound of the voice. It was Alpha alexander. His body was covered in earth from all the work.

Brian's povThe silence in the hall was deafening, broken only by the faint, uneven rhythm of Cara's shallow breathing. My hands were stained with her blood, and Derek's blood, who lay at the end of the hall, dead.Cara was dying and dying fast. Her heart was barely beating, slowly going to a stand still. Her body was so still, too still. My heart pounded violently in my chest. It felt like my heart was giving up. This is all my fault. Derek taunting words haunted me like a persistent shadow. I had shown compassion. This is my fault. If I hadn’t hesitated, if I hadn’t let my feelings cloud my instincts, none of this would have happened. Cara would have been alive and well. We would have won the battle and gone back to east ellorin filled with happiness, but my moment of weakness had caused her to be on the brink of death.I cradled her closer, her head resting on my chest. “Cara…” Her name escaped my lips as a broken whisper. “Please… please don’t leave me.”My wolf howled in anguish,

Cara’s POVSound of blaring war whistles and horns started blasting immediately, and we reached 10m of the gigantic pack. I divided my troops into two based on the agreed tactic we will use. Garreth, with the other commanders, led half of the tropes into the middle of the pack. Although it was risky and far more dangerous. Garreth had agreed without hesitation, and now they were in position patiently waiting for my signal despite the chaos going on in the pack. The other half of my troops led by alpha Alexander were back at the camp, in case of retreat. We exercised caution, knowing that the West was a foreign land to us. I was at my position. An undercover entrance to a mountain. The mountain wolves had disclosed a secret pathway I to the pack. That is where I will follow. I was following our mating bond that was still pulsing weakly.“On your command,” she said, hiding beneath shrubs. She had insisted that she would follow me.I nodded, “we attack” , The sound of the whistle rang

  • Mated To The Rogue King   Chapter 132: The vision

Cara’s POVThe weight of leadership was heavy, far heavier than I could have ever imagined. I stood at the edge of my tent, watching as our faction, which has now become the strongest fighting force of Eastern Ellorin, prepared for the long march ahead. After my bold declaration, some factions had come to join me on my quest to wage war against the western district. Currently, my faction is made up of the mafian wolf pack , which is the first group of people, then the pack of alpha Alexander ruled by the two sisters. The third is the mountain wolves that alpha Alexander came with. They are a group of wolves that secluded themselves from the activities of ellorin. Choosing to live in the mountains. But on hearing the legend of the pureblood, they had come out of their hiding shell. Plus, three others have come to join us. Making it a total of six different factions out of the twelve factions in the eastern district.Fires burned low, and the air was thick with tension. The once-vast E

Cara povThe voice of Emma pierced through the battlefield.“Brother”Wolves of different sizes jumped out of the nearby hills and mountains. They were viciously wolves, and of course, their peculiar scent of rogues permeated the air. But that was not the most stinking and distinguished thing that gave me a momentary pause. The main thing was the fine young man leading the wolf's.“Alpha Garreth!”His name left my mouth before I could stop it. Even the spiky haired warrior had to stop. Because of the sudden intrusion. He was still the same. His curly hair stood out, making him presentable. He wore a thick animal skin as an armor that did nothing to hide his bulging muscles.“How dare you bully my sisters” he scowled at Alpha Black and his cohorts before lunging at them in an intense battle of the strongest. The tempo of the war changed as I spotted a frown on the spiky warrior's face.“Plan not going as planned?” I taunted, now that the pressure had been moved away immensely, especial

That was why I poured my strength in our first clash. meeting his charge head-on. Our blades clashed, the force of the impact sending a shockwave through the air.My sword vibrated from the impact. The force pushed me two steps back, but he only took a step back. To show you the disparity of strength.“foolish girl, you think you can stand against the Master’s will?” he snarled, his strength pressing against mine. As he charged for the second time.I had even underestimated him again. His strength was way above mine, without my bloodline being active. Cara’s POVThe Bluecreek Pack loomed ahead of us. The fortress ahead of me was nothing like the pack I grew up in. Its borders are marked by tall trees and a faint trail of smoke rising from within. From what I have heard, they were a combination of the Alliance. The merging of different neighboring packs and their Alpha into what they called the Alliance. It was them that led the attack on the mafian wolf pack.
