Caras pov

I woke up to the cold feeling of coldness numbing my wrists. My arms were stretched above me, and heavy chains running from the roof down, were cuffed into my wrists. The room was dim, the air heavy with the scent of damp stone.

I tugged weakly at the chains, but they didn’t budge. My strength was gone, the repressant doing its job this time.

The door creaked open, and in came in Alpha Black together with a bodyguard that was covered head to toe with heavy metals, leaving only the two orbs inplace of the eyes hole. He flaclnked alpha Black who had an expression of anger mixed with disappointment, his dark eyes smoldering with barely contained fury.

“You really are a fool,” he said, his voice low and dangerous.

“Who is he, the spiked haired warrior” not paying attention to what he was ranting about I asked him what have been bothering me since the time I was injected the repressants.

I was almost close to escape, close to my freedom, but the spiked haired warrior, was

Caras PovThe air shifted. A suffocating weight settled over the council chamber as the spiked warrior entered the grand hall. My heart thundered at the mere sight of him. This was the first time I was seeing him properly, and he stood at almost 6,1 foot tall, with powerful biceps and triceps bulging out from his tight skin Armor he gaped on himself. He was a mountain of a man and with arms the size of a full-grown man's thighs. He stepped inside, tall and menacing, with spiked hair that seemed to shimmer under the dim torchlight. His presence consumed the room, his sharp gaze silencing the guards that wanted to apprehend him. even the elders, held a tinge of shock. But what struck me most was the smirk that danced on his lips, not cruel, but oddly pleased. And it was directed at me. “Cara,” Elder Rufus barked, his voice cutting through my confusion and the aura brought about by the spiked haired warrior. “Take the vial, now!” I glanced at the golden liquid in the vial, its conte

Brian’s POVThe forest blurred as I ran, my limbs a blur of motion fueled by raw desperation. Garreth’s final hurried mind-link replayed in my head, a haunting echo that wouldn’t leave me. The words were a dagger to my chest, sharper than any blade. My wolf clawed at my insides, begging for release, its frustration mingling with my own. But I held it back. Not yet. I needed focus, not blind rage. I had rushed my outside work I was doing, left everything, and traveled almost 10km, running to come back to my pack. The air was thick with the scent of pine and damp earth as I pushed myself harder, faster. I wasn’t just racing against time, I was racing against fate. My pack was everything, but Cara? Cara was more. She was my lifeline, the only softness in a world built on blood and power. The thought of what might happen to her was a thought I didn’t want to think of. The familiar outline of my packs territory, the mafians wolf pack loomed forward. I waded through the thick bush, hea

Cara povBrian!!.The spiked warrior stiffened, his grip tightening on my arm as he turned toward the sound. An evidence of them being rogues. The tension in the room was suffocating. The elders were stunned into silence. My mind raced as I tried to piece it all together. Who was this warrior? Cara's POVCold. That was the first thing I felt as I regained consciousness. The kind of cold that didn’t just touch your skin, it sank into your very bones, stealing every ounce of warmth. My vision was blurry, and a pounding headache throbbed at the base of my skull. I tried to move, but the sharp clink of metal echoed through the room. Panic set in as I looked down to find myself chained to a cold, metallic table. The restraints bit into my wrists and ankles, and the sizzling pain told me they were coated with wolfsbane. My stomach twisted. Where was I?.The room was dimly lit, the faint glow of a single bulb casting shadows across the walls. Surgical instruments glinted in the light, lined up neatly on a nearby tray. The sterile, metallic scent of the room filled my nose, and I realized with a shudder that this wasn’t just any room, it was a makeshift operating theater. What was I doing here, tired like a lap rat inside an abandoned lab. I yanked at the chains, the metal biti

Cara's POVI can't count how many times I woke up to the cold reality of a cold, dark room. My councioness goes in and out as I alternate between reality and the beyond. The dream came like a thief in the night, stealing away the oppressive cold and replacing it with warmth. I embraced it as my companion in the dark, lonely room.I saw my home, our pack. It was just a small pack consisting of not up to a hundred members, excluding the children. It was just as I remembered it before everything went wrong. The Lush green fields stretched endlessly under a golden sun. Children ran about, laughing and chasing one another, while adults shared stories near the bonfire. It was peaceful, perfect, and even, a harmony I hadn’t felt in so long that it felt like a distant memory. The scene shifted to when I and my father went to hunt. I was a little girl of just 4 years old. He was trying to set up the trap, but the thing was hooked. In the process of trying to unhook it, the trap clamped hard

Cara povThe piercing sound of the alarm echoed through the dimly lit tunnel, slicing through the oppressive silence. “They know,” Alpha Black’s guard muttered under his breath, his voice tense. The advancing guards raised their weapons, their faces hard with anger and suspicion, and now fully confirmed. “We’re cornered,” I whispered, my voice trembling as panic clawed at my chest. Our chance of survival was bleak. And with every second that passes, it becomes bleaker. We have been exposed. The guard turned to me, his dark eyes sharp and unwavering. “Stay behind me. Don’t move unless I tell you to.” I nodded mutely, my throat too tight to form words. The narrow corridor suddenly felt suffocating as the guards charged. Their movements were swift, coordinated, and deadly. Alpha Black’s guard met them head-on, a blur of calculated strikes. He fought with precision, his fists and feet landing with brutal efficiency. The way he moved, fast, controlled, relentless. stirred something d

Emily's povI paced the tent, my thoughts a storm I couldn’t calm. Alex’s words replayed over and over in my head. It was like the cold reply of the executioner.“We have been discovered. Switch to Plan B.” That had been his hurried reply before the mindlinked cutted.I clenched my fists, staring at the maps laid out on the makeshift table. “Emily,” Aiden’s voice came softly from behind me. I stiffened but didn’t turn. “What is it, Aiden?” He didn’t answer immediately, and I felt the warmth of his presence as he stepped closer. “You’re overthinking again,” he murmured, his tone low and familiar. I let out a bitter laugh. “Overthinking? Is that what you call preparing for the possibility of losing everything? Alex is out there and probably has been killed. Cara might never make it back, and Brianonly him is fighting through the council. While we are here, seated like chickens for decoration.” “Brian gave you a command,” Aiden interrupted, his hand brushing lightly against my arm.

Each step felt like freedom, a fleeting escape from the chaos behind me.I hadn’t encountered anyone during my run and began to question if I was heading in the right direction. But the sharp whistle of an arrow grazing my ear shattered that thought.“She dodged it... she actually dodged it,” someone whispered behind me.In seconds, I was surrounded.“She’s a beautiful one,” one of them said, his arrogant smirk grating against my nerves. The men surrounding me were warriors, but not part of Alpha Black’s gang. If they were, I’d already be skewered on their spears. I growled, a warning, but my defiance only made them laugh.“Is she... pouting?” one chuckled.“She’s

  • Mated To The Rogue King   Chapter 136: new beginning

Cara’s povOne week later. The war was over. Derek and his cohorts have been defeated. And following his death His remaining warriors had fled seeing that their commander was gone.I was told that we chased them through the great woods, making sure that we weakened their forces, even as they fled deep inside the great woods. That was as good as dead, and because of that, we had stopped pursuing them. We were back to the east. Our home is currently in Brian's former pack. Everywhere was a beehive of activities as the pack was being rebuilt. From my position, I could see Garreth. His loyalty and dedication to his duty are worthy of commendation. He is directing some pack members on what to do.Also, there is Emily and Emma, with their mates. They have survived the war. They are in control of their people and together helping to rebuild the mafian wolf pack.“Enjoying the view” I turned, at the sound of the voice. It was Alpha alexander. His body was covered in earth from all the work.

Brian's povThe silence in the hall was deafening, broken only by the faint, uneven rhythm of Cara's shallow breathing. My hands were stained with her blood, and Derek's blood, who lay at the end of the hall, dead.Cara was dying and dying fast. Her heart was barely beating, slowly going to a stand still. Her body was so still, too still. My heart pounded violently in my chest. It felt like my heart was giving up. This is all my fault. Derek taunting words haunted me like a persistent shadow. I had shown compassion. This is my fault. If I hadn’t hesitated, if I hadn’t let my feelings cloud my instincts, none of this would have happened. Cara would have been alive and well. We would have won the battle and gone back to east ellorin filled with happiness, but my moment of weakness had caused her to be on the brink of death.I cradled her closer, her head resting on my chest. “Cara…” Her name escaped my lips as a broken whisper. “Please… please don’t leave me.”My wolf howled in anguish,

Cara povThe moment I jumped into the battlefield to help my people who were struggling, a loud sound rang throughout the battlefield. I stopped dead in my tracks, looking at the new arrivals from the west. And what I saw left me speechless. They were not more than twenty, but I could feel the faint connection through my fire.“Cupbearers…, no the forbidden,” like Debby had called them. They were cupbearers that had changed faction. Julia had told me that the discovery of the cupbearers that were sent on a mission, whereas a result of the betrayal of this group of cupbearers. Cara’s POVSound of blaring war whistles and horns started blasting immediately, and we reached 10m of the gigantic pack. I divided my troops into two based on the agreed tactic we will use. Garreth, with the other commanders, led half of the tropes into the middle of the pack. Although it was risky and far more dangerous. Garreth had agreed without hesitation, and now they were in position patiently waiting for my signal despite the chaos going on in the pack. The other half of my troops led by alpha Alexander were back at the camp, in case of retreat. We exercised caution, knowing that the West was a foreign land to us. I was at my position. An undercover entrance to a mountain. The mountain wolves had disclosed a secret pathway I to the pack. That is where I will follow. I was following our mating bond that was still pulsing weakly.“On your command,” she said, hiding beneath shrubs. She had insisted that she would follow me.I nodded, “we attack” , The sound of the whistle rang

  • Mated To The Rogue King   Chapter 132: The vision

Cara’s POVThe weight of leadership was heavy, far heavier than I could have ever imagined. I stood at the edge of my tent, watching as our faction, which has now become the strongest fighting force of Eastern Ellorin, prepared for the long march ahead. After my bold declaration, some factions had come to join me on my quest to wage war against the western district. Currently, my faction is made up of the mafian wolf pack , which is the first group of people, then the pack of alpha Alexander ruled by the two sisters. The third is the mountain wolves that alpha Alexander came with. They are a group of wolves that secluded themselves from the activities of ellorin. Choosing to live in the mountains. But on hearing the legend of the pureblood, they had come out of their hiding shell. Plus, three others have come to join us. Making it a total of six different factions out of the twelve factions in the eastern district.Fires burned low, and the air was thick with tension. The once-vast E

  • Mated To The Rogue King   Chapter 131: Ultimantum

Cara povThe voice of Emma pierced through the battlefield.“Brother”Wolves of different sizes jumped out of the nearby hills and mountains. They were viciously wolves, and of course, their peculiar scent of rogues permeated the air. But that was not the most stinking and distinguished thing that gave me a momentary pause. The main thing was the fine young man leading the wolf's.“Alpha Garreth!”His name left my mouth before I could stop it. Even the spiky haired warrior had to stop. Because of the sudden intrusion. He was still the same. His curly hair stood out, making him presentable. He wore a thick animal skin as an armor that did nothing to hide his bulging muscles.“How dare you bully my sisters” he scowled at Alpha Black and his cohorts before lunging at them in an intense battle of the strongest. The tempo of the war changed as I spotted a frown on the spiky warrior's face.“Plan not going as planned?” I taunted, now that the pressure had been moved away immensely, especial

Cara povAlpha Black was a strong alpha. Even though he likes to bite and run, it doesn't mean that he is weak. He chooses to hide his power and feign weakness so as to make you underestimate him, but it wasn’t for me. I have lived with him, and I know him and every trick he has up his sleeve. That was why I poured my strength in our first clash. meeting his charge head-on. Our blades clashed, the force of the impact sending a shockwave through the air.My sword vibrated from the impact. The force pushed me two steps back, but he only took a step back. To show you the disparity of strength.“foolish girl, you think you can stand against the Master’s will?” he snarled, his strength pressing against mine. As he charged for the second time.I had even underestimated him again. His strength was way above mine, without my bloodline being active. His words made me reconsider this Master from the western district. If alpha Black van willingly serves him as hid slave, that goes a long way to t

Cara’s POVThe Bluecreek Pack loomed ahead of us. The fortress ahead of me was nothing like the pack I grew up in. Its borders are marked by tall trees and a faint trail of smoke rising from within. From what I have heard, they were a combination of the Alliance. The merging of different neighboring packs and their Alpha into what they called the Alliance. It was them that led the attack on the mafian wolf pack. We had come for our revenge.I stood on a small hill overlooking the whole pack. the weight of the moment pressing against my chest.
