Oliver’s POV

The air outside the bunker was thick with the stench of blood and sweat, the ground littered with the fallen bodies of both friend and foe. The night sky, usually calm and serene, was a battlefield itself, filled with the echoes of howls and snarls. My heart pounded as I carried Lucas’s unconscious body through the chaos, Elena by my side.

She had been silent since we left the bunker, her face pale, her eyes filled with worry. I could feel the tension radiating from her, but there was no time to address it now. Lucas needed help, and the pack needed me to lead them through this attack.

“Stay close,” I instructed her, glancing back to make sure she was keeping up. She nodded, her hand gripping Beauty’s arm for support.

We reached the infirmary, a makeshift structure that was now overwhelmed with injured wolves. Healers rushed around, their hands slick with blood as they worked tirelessly to save lives.

“Alpha,” one of the healers, Elara, approached me, her face drawn with

Elena’s POVThe infirmary was eerily quiet as the chaos outside settled. The muffled cries of the injured and the hurried whispers of healers were all that remained of the earlier battle. I sat beside Lucas’s bed, my mind still racing with everything that had happened. He was pale but stable, his breathing shallow as he rested. The image of his bloodied body being carried in by Oliver haunted me. The battle had been brutal, and while I knew this wasn’t the first time Lucas had fought to protect the pack, seeing him like this tore at my heart. His earlier confession echoed in my mind, and I couldn’t shake the weight of his words.“Elena?” Oliver’s voice broke through my thoughts.I looked up to find him standing in the doorway, his shirt torn and stained with blood—not all of it his own. His face was grim, exhaustion evident in his every movement.“How is he?” he asked, stepping closer.“The healers say he’ll be okay,” I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. “But it’ll take time.”

Elena’s POVThe soft glow of candlelight filled Oliver’s private chambers as I entered, my steps hesitant yet drawn toward the warmth he radiated. After the chaos of the past few days, this space felt like an oasis, separated from the weight of duty and danger.Oliver stood by the window, his tall frame illuminated by the pale moonlight. His back was to me, but I could feel his tension even from across the room. He was always strong for everyone else, carrying the burdens of the pack on his shoulders, but tonight, I could sense that weight pressing down on him.“Oliver,” I called softly, my voice breaking the silence. He turned to face me, his eyes tired but softening as they met mine. “Elena,” he said, his tone filled with relief. He crossed the room in long strides, reaching for me as though he needed to confirm I was really there. His hands cupped my face, his thumbs brushing lightly against my cheeks. “Are you okay?” he asked, his gaze searching mine.I nodded, placing my hands ov

Elena’s POVThe peaceful warmth of the night lingered even as the first light of dawn began to peek through the heavy curtains. Oliver lay beside me, his features softened in sleep. He looked so different like this—vulnerable, unburdened. My fingers itched to trace the lines of his jaw, but I stopped myself, not wanting to disturb the rare moment of calm. The responsibilities of the pack would soon weigh on us again, but for now, I allowed myself the indulgence of watching him. My heart ached with a quiet joy, a feeling I hadn’t dared to dream of before. But as much as I wanted to stay in this cocoon of safety, the world outside wouldn’t wait. I slipped out of bed, careful not to wake him, and wrapped myself in a soft robe. The fire had burned down to embers, the room still faintly warm.Padding quietly to the window, I pulled back the curtain just enough to peer outside. The horizon was streaked with soft pink and gold, the forest bathed in an ethereal glow. It was beautiful, but the

Elena’s POVThe silence after Daniel’s departure was deafening. I paced the room, each step echoing against the wooden floor as Beauty’s wide, tear-filled eyes followed my movements. My bond with Oliver throbbed faintly—still there, but the pain I’d felt moments ago had left an ominous shadow. I clenched my hands into fists, forcing myself to remain calm.“Elena, please sit,” Beauty begged, her voice trembling. “You’re making me more nervous.”I paused, taking a deep breath to steady my racing thoughts. Sitting wasn’t an option. The growing unease in my chest demanded action, but I was trapped, bound by Oliver’s order to stay here.“You don’t understand, Beauty,” I murmured, my gaze fixed on the window. The forest stood still, deceptively peaceful. “When you’re bonded, you feel everything. Pain, fear, even—” I stopped, swallowing hard. “Even death.”Her hand flew to her mouth, stifling a gasp. “Don’t say that! He’s strong, Elena. He’ll come back.”I nodded, forcing a tight smile, but

Elena’s POVThe aftermath of battle was always heavy with emotion, a strange mix of relief and despair. As the last rays of sunlight dipped below the horizon, casting the battlefield in an eerie twilight, the stench of blood lingered in the air, mingling with the quiet groans of the injured.Oliver’s arm was still wrapped tightly around me as we walked back to the packhouse. His warmth and strength anchored me, even as the adrenaline of the fight began to fade.“Are you hurt?” he asked, his voice low and rough from exhaustion. His sharp eyes scanned me, lingering on the shallow claw marks on my arm.“It’s nothing,” I replied, brushing it off. “You’re the one who looks like he went ten rounds with a rogue Alpha.”He chuckled softly, though the sound was strained. “I’ve had worse. Still, I can’t believe you disobeyed me, Elena.”I opened my mouth to retort, but he stopped abruptly, pulling me close so we were face to face. His expression was serious, his hazel eyes searching mine.“You

Third povThe morning after the battle arrived slowly, dragging its weight through the packhouse like an unwelcome guest. The faint golden light seeping through the curtains did little to lift the heaviness that lingered in the air. Even the forest seemed muted, as though it too, was recovering from the violence it had witnessed.Elena stood by the bedroom window, her fingers tracing idle patterns on the frosted glass. She had barely slept, her mind replaying the events of the previous night in an endless loop. The rogue Alpha’s lifeless eyes, the blood-soaked ground, the traitor’s betrayal—all of it churned within her, refusing to be silenced.Behind her, Oliver stirred, the rustling of sheets breaking the quiet. She turned to find him sitting up, his hazel eyes dark with fatigue.“You didn’t sleep,” he said, his voice hoarse.“Neither did you,” she replied softly. He sighed, running a hand through his messy hair. “It’s hard to rest when you know there’s a snake in the grass.”She no

Third povElena’s instincts bristled as Chloe’s parting words lingered in her mind, sharp and unsettling. The air in the packhouse felt heavier, as though suspicion itself had seeped into its walls. She couldn’t shake the feeling that Chloe was hiding something, but the question was what—and why.The library door creaked shut behind Chloe, and Elena exhaled slowly. The confrontation had been subtle, a game of unspoken words and veiled intentions, but it had confirmed one thing: Chloe was no innocent observer in the pack’s recent turmoil.Elena gathered her thoughts and returned to her quarters, where Oliver was waiting, his brows knit in concentration over a map of the pack’s territory.“You’re late,” he remarked without looking up, his voice laced with concern.“I ran into Chloe,” she replied, crossing the room to stand beside him.His head snapped up, hazel eyes narrowing. “What did she say?”“She was… cryptic,” Elena admitted. “She mentioned the pack’s future, but it felt more like

Elena’s povI stood by the balcony as my mind went on wondering what was going on in the pack. I have not yet been bonded to Oliver but it was crazy. Sure, the people see me as their Luna and even call me Luna but it was yet an official title. Chloe and Hailey were making sure about that!I was beyond frustrated—-from the war to the impending danger of the pack, to the traitor or mole hidden within the ranks. I had tried to snoop around but things didn't go exactly as planned. Luckily—-the only good thing to come out of this was that Lucas was healed, not fully, but he was making a very quick recovery.I felt a hand placed on my shoulders and I quickly knew who it was—-as only his touch could make my heart skip a million beats.“Hey….what are you doing here?” Oliver asked, I turned to him and hugged him tight. “I'm sorry….” I apologizedI could feel the confusion he felt through the bond, he pulled me back, staring into my eyes “What are you apologizing for?”I threw my face away,

I would be fine on my own but will you be fine by yourself?” I asked, worried that Chole had gotten into his head.“Hmm…Ya. It would take a lot of time but I would be fine.” his tone was firm but the look in his eyes said otherwise.“That would be great!” I pulled him tight for a hug and he reciprocated, “Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any problems okay?” We pulled out of the hug, he had a smirk on his face, “with pleasure, My Queen.”I giggled, “Good night Lucas…”“Good night Elena.”I turned and made my way up the stairs that led me to my room which was apparently opposite Oliver’s room. The guards at the entrance of the wing saw me and I could see a flash of fear in their eyes as they greeted me.

Chloe’s PovI heard a gasp after telling Lucas about his father. I turned to the direction of the sound “Who’s there?” I called out but no answer.I turned to Lucas who was still in shock about the news. “Wait here!” I whispered to him and began to move in the direction of the noise. I heard footsteps backing away slowly. When I got to where the sound came from no one was there but I saw shadows of two feminine structures sneaking away.“Elena!” I said to myself, “Let the games begin.”I turned back to Lucas, “We can't talk here but if you want to know everything about your father, then meet me in my room by midnight and make sure no one follows you.”He was silent for a while, “why should I believe anything you have to say?”“Because I have proof of your real identity and I am sure you don't want to miss that.” I shrugged as I turned away to leave.“Remember, midnight!” I said into the air, leaving my words to linger as I left. This is the time to strike, mum and Dad would be comi

Oliver’s POVThe council meeting would start any moment now. I had given them time to speak up about any thoughts they must have felt about getting married to Elena. It is almost time for me to hear them out and give out punishment for staging a resistance to my ruling. The door to my office burst open and Chloe walked in, her demeanor not as friendly as usual.“What do you want….I am busy.” I tried to push her out. Since she had been the main suspect of the last attack with the rouges, I had kept her at arm's length.“I know you’ve been avoiding me!” She blurted out, making me pause. I look up at her, my face straight, “have I?” She rolled her eyes, “That's your cup of tea…Oliver. I am here because I heard you are planning on removing some elders from the council. After all, they were about to speak against you getting married to that.……” She didn't finish the sentence I growled as a warning to her.“Chloe, how I run my kingdom is none of your business. Elena’s Pov“Hey guys, what are you talking about?” Chloe asked, popping up behind us, which scared us a bit. Lucas and I exchanged looks as Chloe smiled at us.“Nothing much, Chole…..It was so nice to see you today in training. What changed?” I asked She gave a quick smile, “Nothing….” she then turned to Lucas, “Can I see you privately?”Lucas looked at me, then back to her, “Hmmm, sure!” “Good…” she smiled and walked away.“Hmmm, Elena, Excuse me for a minute.”I nodded, “be careful…..”“I will…..”Lucas walked out of the training ground with Chloe, while I watched in fear. Chloe can not be trusted and I don't know how I would be able to keep calm while Lucas go ahead with Chloe.“Hey…..” someone tapped me, making me jolt.I turned to see beauty, surprised at my reaction, “Beauty, you scared me….”“Sorry….are you alright?” she asked.“Hopefully…..”She began to look around, “Where is Lucas, thought he was with you?““He was…..but now he is with Chole!““Chole!” She yelled “Shhhh

Elena’s povI stretched out and I could feel someone holding me tight as trying to keep me in place. I smiled knowing who it was. Yesterday had not been the most perfect but it did end in cuddling the love of my life. Oliver and I never had time to ourselves. He is always up and about, trying to keep things in the pack.I love his dedication but I won’t lie I want him all to myself at times. So instead of getting up to go get ready for today’s training, I snuggled into his embrace.“Hmmmmm…… that’s a good girl.” I heard him speak, his morning voice doing something to me.I giggled, “Sorry, I woke you up.”“You didn’t…” he said and placed a kiss on my hair.“Good morning….how was your night.” I asked, looking up to meet his eyes.“Hmmm….with you, Perfect!” He smirked at me, making me blush, “what’s your plan for today, my love.”“Nothing much…..Just training with Lucas and Beauty.” “Ah, I see……be careful okay.” He said to meI nodded softly, as I snuggled into his hard chest, “What a

Elena’s POVI woke up slowly, feeling the warmth of Oliver’s arms wrapped around me. His steady breathing tickled the back of my neck, and for a moment, I allowed myself to melt into his embrace. It was rare for us to have peaceful moments like this. But the moment was short-lived.Flashes of my nightmare hit me again—the darkness, the whispers, the feeling of being watched. A shiver ran down my spine. It had felt so real, too real.Oliver stirred behind me. His hand instinctively tightened around my waist.“Bambi?” His voice was husky from sleep.I hesitated. “It’s nothing. Just… a bad dream.”His arm flexed, pulling me closer until I was pressed against his bare chest. “Do you want to talk about it?”I bit my lip. Should I tell him? The way the dream had twisted reality—whispered threats in the shadows, my own reflection changing in the mirror, my wolf howling in pain. But… what if it was just my mind playing tricks on me?“No,” I said finally. “It’s nothing important.”He exhaled s

Oliver’s PovThe pack had been calm and I had been trying my possible best to make it that way. I also contacted the Black Hallow pack and the Alpha said he knew nothing of it and would conduct his investigation.Though Daniel and Elena had doubts about my sister, there was nothing I could do but wait for some piece of evidence to show up on a platter of gold.“Your Highness!” I turned to see Lucas behind me, his head bowed.“At ease…..Is there a problem?” I asked.“No….I came to inform you that the council would be holding a meeting.” He said “A meeting? I wasn’t told about any meeting.” A scowl settled on my face.“It is a secret meeting and from the looks of things, they want to kick against the idea of getting married to….Elena….sorry the Luna.” Lucas informed me.“I see………Get me the place and time for the meeting, I guess we are in for a long surprise. It’s time to give out some punishments.”“Yes, Alpha.” He saluted and turned to carry out the order.“Daniel….” I called and h

Elena’s POV I sat in the library trying to calm myself down with books. I have been trying to keep my mind at peace. The past few weeks had been calm. Even though the traitor was yet to be found—-at least the pack had peace. The door to the library was pushed open and Beauty walked in and she had a smirk on her face. “What got you smiling?” I asked dropping the book in my hand and picking up the glass of juice beside me. “Nothing….Luna.” She said and my face fell, she noticed my change in mood instantly, “Is something wrong?” I shook my head, “No… it’s nothing, just, that title should be given to the true Luna….not me.” “I agree…..” A voice came through, beauty, and I turned to see Hailey standing in the library. I did not notice her enter but my face had a scowl in it. “My lady.” Beauty greeted me as per custom but I knew that she didn’t want to. “What are you doing here, Hailey?” I asked her. “I would watch my tone when you talk to me. Elena’s POVThe next morning, I woke to a soft warmth on my cheek. My eyes fluttered open, and I found Oliver sitting beside me, his hand gently caressing my face. His touch was tender, as if he feared I might vanish.“Morning, my Luna,” he said softly, his voice a soothing melody to my troubled mind.I sat up slowly, rubbing my eyes. The weight of yesterday’s emotions still lingered, but his presence calmed the storm within me. “Morning,” I replied, my voice laced with sleep.Oliver handed me a cup of tea, his usual routine when he stayed the night. It was one of the little things he did that made me feel like I belonged in his world, even though I still doubted it at times.“I have a meeting with the council today,” he informed me as I sipped the warm brew. “They’re pressing for answers about the traitor and the attacks. I need you to be cautious, Elena. If the mole gets desperate, they might act rashly.”I nodded, understanding the gravity of his words. “I’ll be careful. But Oliver
