Chapter 109

Logan’s POV

I saw the fear in her eyes. What was wrong with her?

“Hazel, are you alright?”

She nodded frantically and smiled.

“I’m fine. Uhmmm… could you please close the window. The air is making me feel a bit dizzy.”

I looked at her suspiciously and rolled up her side of the window. I knew that there was something else that was bothering her. I made a mental note to ask her about it later.

Soon we all pulled up in front of the school. I could feel the tension in the car. Our first day was not what we expected. It was my fault that we all got sent into detention the day before.

“So we are still sticking to the original plan?” I asked Hazel.

“Yes. But what if we bump into Mr. Greg? Are we going to have to pay him off again?”

I took a deep breath.

“I guess so. Let’s just hope that we don’t see him.”
