Chapter Forty-Seven

Ares Pov

The pounding on my door brought me out of my slumber, i had been up most of the nights and today my body broke down right when i was going through some paper works. I ended up falling asleep on the chair and now my neck was sore because of my terrible posture. The knock came again and i tried my best to grit out at whoever it was.

“Open the door Ares,” It was my brother Atlas, i stepped out and walked towards the door while i rubbed the back of my neck. I yanked the door open, ready to yell out at him but the expression on his face was not in any way playful.

“What is it?” I asked and my eye slid to the door just at the far end.

“She’s gone.”

“what do you mean she’s gone.” We had left the house and stood outside, the moon was out to the fullest and then cold air danced in sharp turns on my skin.

“She’s not in her room and no where around,” he said and shuffled with his phone. “Her scent is off the radar, i don’t think she’s in our territory Ares.” I coul
