A few hectic hours had passed since I first proposed my crazy idea, the rest of the pack soon got word about the changes and were also happy. It's great to see everyone working together to make this work, the humans and the wolves were helping each other so it could get done in time.

I was helping Cody and Scott set up the place for the wolves, the only thing I wasn't going to help with was the poor animals, knowing me I'll feel bad and release them all. I was just finishing setting up the barrier separating the wolves and the human section, we didn't want anyone getting hurt if something ran to our bit.

I stand up straight looking around at what we've done, you had the wolf's part which was just an open wood with the barriers. Across from that was where I know I'll be spending most of my time, the children's part, I just love being around

This was bad, my dad wasn't kidding when he said if any of the girls go back he'll kill them. It's not like the police guarding the place won't know who Martha is, that's all they were thinking about for weeks after the raid. Why would she even wanna go back? Last time I was at town even her family didn't want anything to do with her, is she doing this on purpose?A part of me was hoping if my dad did see her, he'd be a bit more lenient as it's Martha and I've known her since we were little. But than again my dads been after blood since the raid, to top it all off with what we've learnt about mum, it's not looking good."I think it's best if I go to town to see if she's there" I say as I knew Scott was about to sprint to town, which was extremely fast might I add."She's my ma

The people get closer where I could now see who they were, my dad was leading the group while Justin was close behind him. Reece emerges from the trees somewhere just ahead, he looked like a ninja! I know this wasn't really the time but it was nice to see them, I also know it's not even been a week since I left. But I used to see all of them every single day no matter what, now it's changed to me not seeing them for days, it's a huge swift!I feel a hand take my arm and pull me back slightly, I knew from which arm was grabbed that it was Cody who did it. His hand remained on my arm holding me, but not in a rough way just in a way to keep me there."Erika" is all my dad says as they stop abruptly, they very nearly went over the border line, that wouldn't have been good."I'm okay no need to panic, the reason we're here is due

It doesn't take us long to leave the wood part of town and make it to main part, walking through the woods none of us spoke. I had so much to tell Reece that I know for sure he wouldn't tell my dad especially, but I didn't know if there were others around to hear what I was saying, who definitely would tell my dad."Is it bad to say that I'm kind of happy Martha's gone on one of her hide and seek journeys?" Reece asks breaking the silence as all the houses come into view, I always thought this place was massive but it doesn't even compare to the town at home "it's sucked without you here, I've had to manage with Justin turning all sophisticated on me, you won't believe the laugh I had to hold in when he entered the room dressed like that" Reece chuckles as we begin to walk in the direction of Martha's parents house, in my mind that would be the only place she would really wanna go.

I stare at the thing frozen in place for a few seconds, my body couldn't move or allow me to form a sentence. Reece continues to list all the different rules the town has changed, I knew this meant he hadn't saw what I'm seeing right now because he definitely wouldn't be straight up ignoring it."R-Reece" I stutter out my eyes still not leaving the floating thing in front of me, the sentence left my lips so quietly that I worried he didn't hear it, but he looks up thankfully hearing what I said, I didn't know if I'd be able to form another."Are you okay?" He asks raising to his feet and rushing over to me, I still couldn't form a sentence so I lift my arm up and point to what I was seeing. He follows my hand and also clocks what I was seeing, he whips his head around to look

The walk back over to the border was silent, I think both of us are trying to come to terms with what we just saw. I'm also trying to get my head around all the new information Reece just told me about my dad and Justin, I had no idea they were that out of control. I mean when I was there a few times my dad would take it too far, I would always pull my dad up about it and he'd stop immediately. Is that what Reece meant when he said I'd be the first to get punished? If I saw something I didn't like I wouldn't hesitate pulling my dad up about it, thankfully I wasn't there.I take a look over to Reece who's face was blank, I send him a confused look for a second. That's the same face Cody and Scott pull when they're mind-linking people, wait could Reece be? No Erika that's stupid, you've known Reece your entire life so you'd know if he was a werewolf or not. Another strong gust takes me by surprise, I wasn't gonna li

My jaw could have hit the floor when those words came out of his mouth, yes I was thinking it but it's a different thing to hear him actually confirm it. I wasn't the only person that looked gobsmacked, everyone on that side of the border had the exact expression on their faces. I now look at Cody who was just staring at me, this obviously wasn't new information for him."I wanted to tell you but we couldn't risk Reece's safely" he whispers leaning down by my ear, I just send him a little smiling telling him it was okay, it wasn't really for him to tell me but Reece and if he was okay with me knowing.I turn to Justin who slowly took something from his pocket, without warning he pulls a gun out but within a second, Reece was already over the border."You dare fire that gun at

Reece walked home with me and waited until I took a bath, I made sure I didn't take too long so he wouldn't be waited for ages. It was now pretty late, so I decide to just change into a warm set of pyjamas. As I walk down the stairs Reece was sat at one of the counters, he had two cups of what looked like hot chocolate in front of him. He also had changed into some new clothes, did he sneak off home without telling me? That reminds me, I need to ask where he lives so I can visit him."I bet you're feeling so much better, I made some hot chocolate don't worry, I asked Cody's permission beforehand" he smiles handing me the warm drink, I smile joining him at the counter. No one speaks for awhile, I was still getting used to living here with Cody but now, I'm having to get used to Reece being here and who he is. It doesn't change anything between us

I was at a lost for words staring at the girl, the story she was telling me just totally wiped me out. Since it happened, we've always wanted to have answers, I never thought they would be like this. Once her story was wrapped I hold my finger up telling her I needed a second, I turn with my hands on my hips just trying to process all the information I just heard."You do believe me don't you Luna?" She asks worry clear in her voice, the story was so unbelievable but by the way she told it, I knew it was true."Of course I believe you, now are you sure with no shadow of a doubt that it was Justin you saw?" I ask knowing if she got the wrong face, a innocent man was about to get hurt."I'm sure, his face has been haunting my dreams and thoughts since it happened, I don't think

It's been a week since I took control over the town, let me tell you it's been a blast. That night we had a huge party, it stretched from the pack house all the way to the centre of town. I thought the towns people would be nervous about having the pack members walking the streets, but it was the opposite. Everyone was just so happy that all the fighting and the fear could be over with, my dad was even smiling.Today was the day we move the border that separates the town and the pack, now this part of town is a part of the pack. Which according to Cody, makes up one of the biggest packs in the country! Which is a big thing according to him, I wouldn't know I'm still learning about all the pack things.Ethan got released from hospital yesterday, the doctor is right he's slowly making a full recovery. Mum and dad finally spoke too, they have a lon

It's been two days since everything that happened with Ethan, who has woken up and is doing okay. Yesterday the whole day was spent coming up with a plan to get into the town, we knew one thing for definite and that was I needed to get into the town. Which was why the planning was taking this long, Cody didn't want to put me in any danger so every plan he was turning down! Reece couldn't wait to get control of the town again, one so all this mess would be over but two, he could make Justin pay for what he did to Kayleigh. After a few long hours of going over plans, Cody finally agreed to one, only because him and most of the pack will be coming with me! Which honestly, I didn't mind too much because I wasn't thrilled about the idea of going in there alone if I'm being honest. We decided the best time to go into the town would be really early in the morning, before the sunrise kind of early.Th

"Ethan?" I ask confused that he was even ringing me, he's rang me a few times since we've found mum again but it's always been at night, just in case our dad finds out."Luna, you need to come to the border immediately, your brothers been attacked" one of the border guards says, this immediately makes my heart sink and tears well up in my eyes.I hang up the phone and don't even stop to tell the others what happened, I just need to get to Ethan immediately. As I bolt out the door I hear my mum shouting my name, but I didn't and couldn't stop. I zip passed a pack member after pack member. Some would ask if I'm okay but I couldn't answer, all I could think about was my brother.I soon arrive at that border where I see him, Ethan was laying on the floor with the border guard over him. I waste no time running over and knelling b

It's been a week since I spoke to Tristan, the day after I felt so bad still. Maybe I should have gone about the conversation in a different way, yes all those things needed to he said but maybe not in the way I did. Cody hasn't left my either, he's telling me it's due to the huge meeting he has, he won't be home for the entire day and some of the night. I told him he didn't have to make up for that, we have loads of other days that we can spend every minute with each other.Today was the day of his huge meeting, when I woke up he wasn't there but he did leave me a sweet note. Remember when we had that mini picnic in my bedroom, the night I found out he was a werewolf and what we are. I kept saying over and over again that he was the perfect guy, that still stands with all the sweet notes he leaves me. I couldn't have asked for a nicer mate, especially after everything with Tristan! He told me in the note he would

Just to get into the building was difficult, you needed to wait outside for ages telling them your name and if you've set a meeting up. Than a man comes out asking for ID and starts to search you, just in case you're sneaking something in to give to one of the patients. I wasn't really too bothered about this, all my mind was focusing on was what I was gonna say to Tristan. I knew I had to word what I was gonna say in a way that wouldn't set him off, last time I was here he was better but still not fully there. After what feels like forever, I'm escorted into the building. Once the door closes you hear all the locks locking, they really don't want these people to get out. I lock my things away in a little box at reception, before following the man once again. We walk for a few more minutes until we reach the meeting room, once the door opens I spot Tristan sitting at the table."Erika, I'm so

I wake up bright and early the next morning, all that was racing around my head was what I will tell Tristan. But not only that, I also had to work out what I was gonna tell Cody! I know if I tell him what I wanna do he won't let me, but this is something I need to do not only for myself, but also for Tristan. I don't want him getting out of where he is and having to find out that I've moved on, yeah he might have plotted to kill me but I still care about him enough not to put him through that.I was sitting in the kitchen when Cody runs down the stairs, he had a folder tucked under his arm while rummaging through stuff. I watch him for a few seconds, I thought I had more time to think of an excuse of where I'm gonna be today."Have you seen my keys?" He asks looking through a pot on the side, why would his keys be in there?

I had just wrapped up my storytelling moment, no one uttered a word or moved a single muscle. Martha looked as though she was gonna bolt at any time, while Scott and Cody stood there trying to wrap their heads around what I just told them."You lied to me" Scott mutters breaking the silence, at first I thought he was talking to me but he turns to Martha "everything you told me was a lie, you cared to leave out why that Tristan boy was trying to kill you, YOU TRIED TO KILL HER!" He shouts loosing his cool, I was more shocked he could actually shout that loud."You don't understand, I was jealous because Erika had everything, she had the boy, the family and she was just so beautiful" Martha says but I shake my head, this is what she always does! Whenever she's put in a situation where she's in the wrong, she attempts to make you feel bad so you fo

In my mind I thought she would run over and help but she didn't, she stood there with a smile on her face."That's it Tristan, get rid of her then you and me can live the life of our dreams" she laughs which makes my eyes just go wide, she was planning this with him!"No

I texted Ethan and told him I desperately needed to talk to him and my dad, this wasn't about the town or any borders but a family matter. I know Ethan will come no matter what, even if my dad were to tell him not too. The problem was if my dad was gonna come, he might think this is some kind of trap or something. I just need to prepare for anything, with that thought in mind I start heading towards the border. This was the first time I was making this journey alone, thankfully I walked it a few times so I wouldn't get lost. As I reach the border, I spot Ethan and just dad stood were waiting for me at that side. I send a smile over at them as one of the border guards makes his way over."The Alpha has informed us that you will having a talk with your family, we will be over there further away enough so we can't hear your private conversation, bu
