2024-10-29 19:42:56I stand in the corridor for a few minutes, many questions just kept swirling through my head. Does my mum regret leaving us? Does she ever think of us? Was she just going to allow us to believe she was dead forever? Did she know about her mate before but waited until she had no choice but leave? There are so many questions that I want to be answered, but I don't know if I'm ready to hear the answers yet.
I knew I had to somehow break the news to my family, but it's something I wouldn't want to over the phone. I have to figure out a way to talk to them face to face, without crossing any borders. I decide to text them we needed to talk as Cody walks down the hall, I send him a little smile while finishing sending the text.

It doesn't take us long to leave the wood part of town and make it to main part, walking through the woods none of us spoke.
