To Go On A Dinner Date

Wayne shook his head at all of Olive's inquiries.

“Women. Gosh, why do y'all have to be so nagging? I'm sure Dolly would bombard me with even more questions.”

“But—”

“These are my Alpha duties, Olive. There are lots of them. So don't worry over any little thing I go out to do, okay?”

Olive heaved a sigh and nodded.

“Good girl,” he lifted his hand and rubbed her cheek with his index finger. She bit her lips and exhaled deeply.

“I have to go and dress up. I just wanted a hot bath earlier. See you downstairs at dinner,” she said and began to move out of the tub.

“Downstairs? Who said we're having dinner downstairs?” She looked back at him.

“But I thought we would be having dinner with your family,” she mumbled.

“Get dressed and wait for me. Don't go anywhere. Just sit on the bed till I come out. Because we're having dinner outside the castle,” he ordered in his Alpha voice of authority. He closed his eyes and crossed his arms, taking a position of solitude.

“Yes, Alpha,” Olive muttered.
