2024-07-12 18:00:52Wayne's face turned into a deep frown that he suddenly looked scary. Olive was still choking so he turned his face from Gia and handed her a napkin.
“Sip tiny water,” he said in a very dark and angry voice.
“Thanks,” she croaked and sipped a little water from his glass. He got up and stood behind her, patting her back gently until she calmed down. Her eyes were red and her face flushed.
“I'm sorry, I didn't mean to barge in on whatever's—” Gia's circled her index finger around, gesturing at the table, “—going on here.” Her tone was purely sarcastic. Olive gave her a glare. How did she even get here?
Wayne stood upright and looked at Gia who returned his stare with one as dark and hard as the one he was giving her. She was so angry. So mad at him. If her heart could throw daggers then Olive would be pinned to the wall with daggers all over her body.
