Reconciled

Olive was really confused over what Wayne was saying. Why would Gia suddenly begin to come around him after she arrived when she hadn't even shown any interest in him while working with him for five years?

“You just stood there when she kissed you. You stood there when she was spitting out bad words at me!” she blurted out. Wayne heaved a sigh. He swallowed and shut his eyes, then shifted back. Olive could see his fight with his wolf like it was a physical fight. He walked a little distance from Olive and palm the back of his head with both hands.

“Fucking stay inside!” he barked with his back turned to Olive. It took him two minutes before he calmed down then turned back to face her. His hair was a bit longer and darker in tone. Even his face still seemed feral. What in the world is this man?

“I didn't want to commit murder in front of you,” he simply replied with that same calm voice he had used to speak to Gia.

“What? Murder? How does Gia kissing you have anything to do with you co
