2024-07-23 20:00:30Terry and Crusoe were the ones who accompanied Wayne to the car. They were looking all around, trying to see if there was anything unusual. Or if anyone was looking at them. However, outside was quite calm. Only a few policemen were standing around, on guard. Wayne walked to the car and Terry opened the backseat for him to lay down Olive.
“You are driving, Terry,” he said as he sat down on the seat while still carrying Olive instead of laying her down. He didn't want to part with her. Terry nodded and entered the driver's seat.
Crusoe sat at the passengers side and Terry drove out. On the way, Wayne was very much at alert. He didn't let Terry drive fast. First, because he didn't want to make his mate feel uncomfortable with the speed. He loved how she was sleeping peacefully.
And second, because he was listening and filtering the environment. However, everything seemed calm until they arrived at the castle.
