Kairen's POV

The battle swelled around me like a hurricane; a chaotic tornado of snarls, growls, and the clash of claws. My heart pounded in my chest as I watched Dad's magnificent black wolf, his eyes glowing with an eerie red light. He charged at Dr. Cedric wildly and without restraint; a clash of titans that shook the very core of the building. Debris fell from the cracked walls, altering the once pristine structure of the hall.

But that was the least of Dr. Cedric's problems at the moment. He was more occupied with trying not to get his head ripped off by the Lycan King.

Dad's barrage of attacks was relentless. He scratched and tore at Dr. Cedric's flesh, roaring occasionally to express his grief. Again and again he attacked, but his opponent never seemed to give him an opening wide enough for him to land a critical blow.
