After a quick shower together, Stacey left to get ready at her parents’ house. As I watched her walk out the door, I couldn’t shake off the knot forming in my chest about what was to come tonight. Yes, it was the day she would officially become the luna of this pack, but it was also when the other alphas would be, especially those who had watched the games. I had meticulously planned every aspect to ensure her safety. I just needed to mark her so if things went south, the pack would recognise her as their luna and leader.

I had already made Hunter and Pax take an oath to protect her over me yesterday.
