Alen's POV

In the shimmering ripples in the air, I sensed the message Kral had sent me. He was back.

Suppressing my joy, a heavy weight lifted from my heart. I knew Delia must have succeeded.

I discreetly observed the elders around me.

They maintained calm faces, but their eyes revealed nervous anticipation, especially the elder William, who had an interest in his daughter Catherine's performance in the queen's trial.

However, the outcome was bound to disappoint them.

The golden vines in the air slowly unraveled, revealing a luminous figure wrapped in light. Her face was still indistinct, but two golden lilies in her hands stood out prominently.

A deathly silence fell upon the entire hall as all eyes fixated on her.

"Who could that be?" an elder furrowed his brows, his voice barely audible as if afraid of disturbing something.

But no one could answer his question.

Like a fish leaping out of water, the figure enveloped in light emerged from the rippling air.
