What does it mean to be a princess?

For some, it means power, wealth and status; for others, it means jewels, fancy dresses and balls. But for me, it meant a curse.

I knew from an early age that I had to be quiet to survive. When I was little, my mother always took my hand and warned me with a sad face, "You must be quiet, listen to others, don't refute others, don't attract others' attention. We must become invisible to survive here."

I didn't know what that meant at the time. I just saw my mother bow down to everyone, very humble, sometimes even a servant can bully her, but my mother just kept her head down and kept her mouth shut.

Perhaps because of my mother's influence, I have been a quiet child since childhood. I played quietly in the yard with my old toys, never crying for anything. My mother's words are like seeds buried in my heart. I always knew the world didn't like me. I can only be obedient and patient in exchange for a quiet life.
