171 I'm Leaving

Sibyl’s POV

Before the sun came up, Lowa took Amy to the garden to do something. When I got up, I saw them both come in with a basket of flowers.

"I was wondering if the sun rose in the west today. Why are you up so early? So you went to pick flowers." I handed her a glass of wine and sat down on the sofa to her right.

"Lowa said it would be nice to dry the flowers and put them in a bag, hang them by your bed, or put them in your closet," Amy explained with a smile as she picked through the flowers. The scent of Gardenia and jasmine mixed together and gradually permeated the air. It was an elegant, light taste with a hint of sweetness.

"Why pick the flowers when they are so lively in the garden and in the sun?"

"No matter how fragrant the dried flowers are, they are not as fresh and full of vitality as the fresh flowers."
