12 His Possessive Eyes

Sibyl’s POV

Nuri has been a bit strange these days. He would either force me to ride with him or stay in the carriage with me.

He used to be cold to me, but these days he always wants to be with me.

If it weren't for his unchanging face, I'd almost think he was possessed by witchcraft.

I could only be careful with him and pray in my heart that we would get to our destination quickly.

Three days later, when we finally reached Sunset Town, I jumped out of the carriage happily and took a deep breath.

Wow, there's a smell of tropical fruit in the air here. Mangoes, pineapples, grapes, and coconuts. Those are all fruits I have seen in the palace but never eaten.

“Madam, please take a look at my goods. They are good souvenirs.” An old woman came up with a basket to sell the goods.

“Go away, don't come near us,” said Roth, a bearded knight-leader at Nuri's side, impatiently.

“Oh, Dear Knight, your wife is so beautiful. Please buy her a pair of rabbit ears,” the old woman said to Nuri.
