“Do you really think I’d allow you avoid me for so long, Princess?” Alan asked, his eyes narrowing as he approached me while I subconsciously took a step back. “I already told you, Alan, I want nothing to do with you.” My back met with the wall, and he slammed his hands on either side of my head, trapping me. He leaned close, his face inches away from mine as his hot breath fanned my face. The hair on my skin rose, giving me goosebumps the moment his gaze locked with mine. A knowing smile spread across his lips and he brushed strands of hair from my face. “Your mouth says you want nothing to do with me, but your body tells me otherwise,” he whispered, his voice husky and I shuddered. “Too bad,” he moved away from me and smirked. “You are absolutely not my type.” With that, he turned on his heel and walked away leaving me shocked and furious. What the heck?! Adeline’s POV I trudged through the school gates, my feet heavy with dread. Another day, another dose of bullying and torture.
