Adeline’s POV I trudged through the school gates, my feet heavy with dread. Another day, another dose of bullying and torture. I hated this school, and I especially hated him - Alan, the king of mean. He took great pleasure in making my life miserable, and the other students seemed to enjoy joining in on the fun.
