  Chapter 77: Meet the New Companions

At that moment I heard a sharp sound like the quick piercing of an arrow in the air. Then Galen rolled over and fell sideways. I scrambled desperately forward, only to see Galen, who had fallen to the ground, draw a short, blood-stained arrow from the armour behind him.

He rose, his sword propped on the ground, and scanned his surroundings with a fierce glare, trying to find the man who had shot the arrow. At that moment another arrow was fired behind Galen, but he seemed to dodge it as he had expected. I saw the sword in Galen's hand thrown by him with great force against a large tree, from the top of which a smaller figure immediately leaped.
