Chapter 80: Fighting

Ruby sprang to the ground in front of me, and raised her bow and arrows against the group of men in black. Some of them fell to the ground after being shot, while others continued to rush forward with their weapons. I leaned back against Ruby, holding in my hand the short dagger she had given me to fight the enemy.

The enemy were far outnumbered by us, and my wounds, not yet sufficiently healed, limited my movements. By the time Ruby's arrows were finished, I was exhausted.

"Use your magic, quick!" Ruby yelled at me.

"I won't! I said I had no magic powers! "I blocked a hoe wielded by an enemy with a dagger." We have to find a way to escape!"

"No, I must save Leisha!"

Then a huge net fell from the sky, trapping Ruby and me, and there were men pulling at the ropes that went around the huge net. I tried to cut it with my dagger, but the net was as thick as steel. Suddenly Ruby and I were prisoner
