Ashley saw their duties was about to change, and the guards went to freshen up. She took the chance and sneaked out of the major premises. She hailed the cab and hurried to the address.
She checked her phone for the third time before concluding that she was in the right place; at least according to what the address said. This message gave her a tiny hope of seeing her sister again. She was desperate, and every passing second felt like a burden over her soul, imagining the condition her sister could be in.
The place was abandoned and by night she was sure the place will be filled with bandits. She furrowed her brows as she looked at the old buildings, some already collapsed while some were about to.
“Of course, the place will be shady.” She said out loud, trying to keep herself steady over the uneven ground filled with boulders.
“Were you expecting a reservation at a five-star hotel?” She groaned as she turned to leave. How could she be so stupid to come here? What if it was a trap to kidnap her as well? She thought. It could be a trap, and she walked into it perfectly.
A shiver ran down her as she thought of the possibility, but what terrified her the most was the hold she suddenly lost her balance experiencing the presence of someone behind her. She screamed as she panicked.
“Somebody help me!” the person who held her did not let go nor prevent her from screaming. Curious, she turned to see her hand grabbed. She came in contact with a pair of amber-brown eyes.
“Help!” she screamed again. The fear of getting kidnapped like her sister made her lose her senses.
“Please be quiet!” He finally spoke in his suppressed anger tone.
“No, never! You want to kidnap me as you did with my sister right?!” she said as she turned to the stranger whom Amelia danced with the night before, then kidnapped her. She tried struggling away from his grip but he held her firmly, but not too hard to hurt her.
“And who told you I kidnapped her?” He asked, arching her eyebrows in surprise.
It then occurred to her he wasn’t actually found guilty of kidnapping her sister, but what was he doing here?
“Yes, you probably aren’t the one who kidnapped Amelia, but what are you doing here?” Ashley asked.
“Well, I know who’s done it and I need your help to save her.” Her mouth touched the ground, hearing the ease in her speech. She tried to compose herself, watching what she hoped was coming true.
“I don’t understand. How do you know? Explain!” Ashley demanded, getting suspicious of him.
“Okay, but follow me first.” He then tried directing somewhere, but Ashley resisted.
“No way I’m following you anywhere. Amelia only danced with you and now she’s missing.” Ashley fired.
“Okay, calm down. Look, something happened between your father and my best friend. Let’s not get into the details, but he wants revenge, so he kidnapped your sister at the party. I can help you get inside his house as a maid. You’ll be getting information for me.”
“Why, when all I want is to free my sister?” She found his request to be a maid in his house outrageous.
“Because it’s not that simple!” He shouted, pulling his hair as he was losing control, which shocked Ashley.
He scratched the back of his neck shyly when he saw her backing away at his reaction.
“I’m sorry Ashley. Look, I’m Damon and who kidnapped your sister is my best friend, Adonis. He’s into illegal businesses which involve a lot of shady and criminal things.
He was a good man when he joined. Only wanted money to escape poverty but now, he’s very dangerous.
I have tried talking to him, but he doesn’t listen anymore. My friend is gone and buried inside a beast who knows nothing but how to terrify the person standing in front of him, but I need my friend back. The only way is to get him caught and make him lose everything.”
Damon explained holding seriousness and maintaining eye contact with her perplexed Ashley, who was struggling to contemplate how it revolved around her and the escape of her sister.
“Even if we decide to only rescue her, it would be impossible with the tight security and if we made it, he’ll come back for her and that time it will involve blood.” He concluded.
Finding no other way to rescue her sister from him, she decided one thing, and that was to help bring Adonis down and agreed to cooperate with him.
It was time to resume classes at NYC College in a week, but Ashley had other plans. After she was dropped by her parents on the school campus and left, she went straight to Damon’s car.
It was parked where they had arranged and she got in.
“Are you ready?” Damon asked, getting anxious as he was plotting against his best friend.
“Of course. I can’t even imagine what torture my sister must go through right now.” Ashley answered.
“Mom and Dad won’t allow this and she needs help. I can sacrifice myself.” She wore a deep frown. The anger inside Ashely’s heart was burning and that can’t be hidden.
“Okay then, just follow my instructions and report to me everything he does.” Damon continued.
“but if you feel you’re in danger,” he leaned forward from the front seat and placed her hands on his, “please leave immediately.”
He looked at her seriously. His forehead was wrinkled as he stared seriously at her.
“And one more vital piece of information.”
“What is it?” She inquired.
“He’s a heartthrob. Promise you will never get attracted to him.”
“Okay.” She half smiled and controlled her eyes not to roll at his confidence.
“And another thing.”
“What?”
“You don’t know me.”
“Got it.” And she nodded in agreement.
Situation was fucked up for everyone, they were doing which they never imagined. Plotting against Adonis was difficult, especially when they saw the poverty together, but the changes he experienced while rising to this position made him worried about his friend who is everything for him. He started the engine, then he drove for fifteen minutes before stopping at an enormous gate. Her breathing was escalating as the car was heading on the premises. Her curious gaze was wandering everywhere, watching the amount of security and bodyguards holding gigantic guns in their hands, roaming on the balcony and teres of the mansion. At every step was clutching her heart, but the face of her beloved sister pushed to any extent. The guild she was accumulating inside her was too much to care about her safety. She was determined and composed sooner and she thought to herself. “Here is the gate. Go in alone. Remember, the guards are going to interrogate you.” Damon warned her, slowing down the car
“Ye-s” She forced her words out. “Have a taste of what you just brought. I have to be sure you didn’t poison me.” She jerked her head at him, shocked by his words. This guy is something else, she thought, and she went closer to have a taste of the food and the drink. “One rule you must abide by, you don’t leave without my consent.” I took a fork by the side of his plate, took a bite, and drank juice from his glass. She was terrified, yet ate it confidently. When she was done, she stood there waiting for him to give me orders. She stood for over 30 minutes and he still hadn’t touched his food. She gave Damon a signal of which he noticed. He whispered something in Adonis’s ear. “You can go,’’ he muttered, his gaze still on his phone. He ordered her to keep his gaze on his phone. Finally, she screamed for joy inside of her, her legs screamed of freedom, and she walked away. She rushed to her allotted room to have a bath and arrange for my things. Not long after, a girl who she assu
"Are you alright?” Chole asked, watching Ashley gazing outside the window with a defeated face. He threw her towel on her bed and walked over to her. "Yes, I am" Ashley flashed her best convincing look turning to face her. "I'm just missing my parents,'' She added with a small smile, it wasn’t true nor false. It was her first time leaving her parents. "Same here I miss my parents so much,” Chloe mumbled, taking a huge lump of air. Her shoulders dropped down and she sat over her bed staring at the floor. "They died in a ghastly motor accident.” Her diminishing sound was filled with pain as if there was no light there to follow anymore. "It's just me and my little brother Ethan, I have to come here to work as a maid to earn money for our living.” A small smile formed on her lips when she mentioned her younger brother. He was the world for her, his education and better life were the aims of her living. "I am so sorry about that.” Ashey felt guilty reminding her old poking me
She had sometimes long for a straightforward relationship with a promise of some permanence in it, but she did not let it spoil her pleasure in the present until she came face to face with reality mirrored in the accusing eyes of Adonis. “Tonight,” she continued, “I want to feel silly and wanton; I want to wave your magic wand and carry me into a dreamland where I can lose myself completely. I have missed you, darling. Haven’t you missed me?” “I’ve missed you too, immeasurably. It’s been a long time. Come closer angel, we have a lot of ground to cover.” But even after taking her in his arms, he looked closer at her and leaned, taking her lips on his, merging the two broken pieces until the Sun rose again. Ashley had been awakened from her sleep by the noise of her ringing phone. She looked at it only for her to discover it was her mom. “Good morning mom,” she said, wincing like an infant. ”Good morning love, how are you feeling? You know I care about you? And I want the best
After reading the article, Ashley pushed the paper away with a sign and sat lost in thoughtful silence, but soon it was interrupted by the hurried footsteps and the door of her room pushed open, revealing her unpleasant face of Clara. “Ashley, can I have a word with you?” Her subtle tone surprised Ashley, but she nodded, getting up from her bed. The fear of getting scolded by her was breaking the cold sweat from her forehead. “Congratulations on your new assigned job.” She drew a deep breath and went to where Ashley was sitting and pulled her hand to take her seat beside her. Ashley was gaping at her with an open mouth and failed to cover her shock. “You know you’re not only going to be his maid but also his sex slave.” The dripping honey words couldn’t hide the cunningness in her eyes. “What!” Ashley strikes and gets up. She wasn’t expecting this from the meaning of the maid. She thought she only had to serve him meals and do some small chores he ordered her to do, but Clara’s
Chapter 10 My Slave, Brace yourself“Fuck!” Adonis threw the file over the wall. The important papers get scattered all over, making that pretty woman tremble in her palace. His secretary tell him his drugs dismantled a mobster. The shipments he sent got robbed in the middle of the Atlantic ocean.“Trying to sneak from me? He will know the price.” He roared out loud. Losing shipment was the least reason for his worries, but that a tiny mobster dared to create a hindrance in his business. The dose of terror needed to be added, he thought. He was cooking danger in his head and Ashley, sleeping peacefully in her bed. She woke up early this time and did her morning ablution and went straight to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. She saw maids with she exchanged greetings were staring at with envious gazes. When she was done making breakfast, she took her sister down to her cell, where she had a little chat with her sister, and then she took Master Adonis’s food. She got there and saw him
MAM Chapter 11: Incompetent JobSun sat, rising her heartbeats at the thought of what was happening to her evening. She just wanted her sister to be free, but she was dressed seductively and looked at herself in the mirror. She could not help but wonder if she was coming back alive or seeing her parents and sister once again. Spy for a mafia leader when she sneaked in to betray him. She was annoyed that people were presuming to own her.The knock on the door brought her back to reality. She abruptly stood and looked at herself for last before walking out as if she would never have time to see that innocent face. She went straight outside where she met Adonis and her other companions dressed in a civilized dress instead of their usual black dress code. A voice stopped her from hopping and she turned to see her master.“Do what is told, and you will be saved.” She turned abruptly and faced him, her cool face successfully hiding her terrified soul. Assurance was something she wanted to
MAM Chapter 12 Facing The Lion “Never try to yank, you are already caged,” he gave a sinister laugh, which got Ashley angry, and tried freeing herself, but all to no avail. He pushed her to the bed and lay on her. He was about to tear her dress off, but the opened door stopped him on his track and his eyes twisted, overlooking the intruder. Ashley immediately knew who it was, and she felt relieved. He wasn’t jerked off fast enough. A knife was driven to his chest as he fell flat on the floor, coughing out blood. After getting up from bed, she turned her back to avoid all the horror. “Tell Adonis he is going to pay,” he said while choking blood, and he took his last breath. “Tell your dad that when you get to hell, you asshole,” Kicking him while the others laughed. They bolted the room. They all went through the same route. Ashley sat thinking about what happened and how Derrick was stabbed even to the moment he died. She would have been raped if they came late. “Are you oka
The sun was barely peeking over the horizon when Ashley awoke, her body stiff from the restless sleep. Amelia was still curled up beside her, sleeping deeply after the harrowing events of the night before. Demon was outside, sharpening a blade, his expression hard as he prepared for the inevitable confrontation with Adonis.Ashley sat up slowly, her mind still racing with thoughts of what lay ahead. The peace they had found in the small cabin felt fragile, like a thin veil stretched over a storm waiting to break. She knew it was only a matter of time before Adonis found them—and when he did, there would be no turning back. She quietly stepped outside, the crisp morning air biting at her skin. Demon glanced up from his work but said nothing as she approached him. His silence was heavy, but it wasn’t unfriendly. It was the quiet of a man who knew the weight of the fight that lay ahead.“We don’t have much time,” he finally said, his voice low and grave. “Adonis will come for us soon.”A
The silence that followed Adonis’s departure was thick, weighted with the echoes of the battle that had just transpired. Ashley stood frozen in place, her heart pounding in her chest as she watched the shadows swallow Adonis whole. His dark words lingered in the air, like a storm cloud threatening to return.Amelia lowered the gun slowly, her hands shaking as the adrenaline that had fueled her courage began to fade. She had never held a weapon before, let alone pointed one at a man like Adonis. Her knees buckled slightly, but before she could fall, Ashley rushed forward and wrapped her arms around her sister.“It’s over,” Ashley whispered, her voice thick with emotion. She wanted to believe it, but deep down, she knew Adonis’s words carried a dangerous truth. This wasn’t over, not by a long shot.Amelia buried her face in Ashley’s shoulder, her body trembling from head to toe. “I didn’t know what else to do,” she admitted in a shaky breath. “I couldn’t let him hurt you.”“You did what
Demon and Adonis clashed like two opposing forces of nature, their bodies moving with deadly precision. Each blow was filled with years of unspoken rage, resentment, and betrayal. The sounds of their fists meeting skin echoed through the forest, and Ashley watched helplessly as her worst fears began to unfold before her eyes.Amelia clung to Ashley’s arm, shaking. "Ashley, we have to do something! They’re going to kill each other!" Her voice trembled, but Ashley’s mind was racing too fast for words. She couldn’t pull her eyes away from the violent whirlwind before her. Every fiber of her being wanted to scream, wanted to run between them and make them stop. But how?Adonis had always been an enigma, a man who dominated the world around him with cruelty, power, and an iron will. But now, seeing him like this—engaged in a primal, bloody fight with the only person he’d ever trusted—shattered something inside Ashley. She had once thought there was more to Adonis, a hidden vulnerability be
Chapter 98: A Trap of FateThe air crackled with tension as Adonis descended the hill, his cold, dark gaze locked on Ashley. There was something terrifying in his calmness, as though he had expected this chase to end here all along. Ashley’s breath hitched, her entire body frozen in place, despite Demon’s command to run. But where would she go? The forest was vast, but Adonis was always a step ahead, always finding her no matter how far she ran. “Move!” Demon growled through gritted teeth, his gun trained on Adonis. His voice snapped Ashley out of her shock. She grabbed Amelia’s hand, pulling her sister behind her as they tried to edge farther down the incline. “Run, Ashley!” Amelia urged, her voice trembling with fear, but it was Demon who answered, his voice low and dangerous. “He won’t stop unless you face him.”Ashley swallowed hard, her heart racing as she glanced back at Adonis. He had paused midway down the hill, his piercing gaze tracking their every movement. His lips curle
The tension in the cabin thickened as the three prepared to leave. The forest outside remained eerily quiet, the early morning light casting long shadows across the trees. The cold air bit at Ashley's skin, but the chill she felt wasn’t just from the temperature. Something felt off. The uneasy silence gnawed at her nerves, every second stretching painfully thin. Amelia had stayed quiet since their conversation, her face a mask of worry. Demon moved with purpose, checking their supplies and ensuring they left no trace behind. He was methodical, calm, but there was a storm brewing behind his dark eyes. Ashley couldn’t shake her sister’s warning from earlier—trust was a fragile thing, and in their world, it could shatter in an instant. She had seen Demon’s loyalty to Adonis firsthand, but she had also seen the cracks in his resolve. He had helped them this far, yet the lingering question remained: would he continue to protect them when faced with the full force of Adonis’s wrath? The c
The morning light filtered through the cracks in the old cabin’s walls, casting soft shadows on the floor. The air was cool and still, as if the woods themselves were holding their breath, waiting for the next move. Ashley lay awake, staring at the ceiling, her thoughts racing. She had barely slept, too haunted by everything that had happened.Next to her, Amelia stirred in her sleep, her face soft and peaceful for the first time in what felt like days. Ashley watched her sister for a moment, a surge of protectiveness welling up inside her. Amelia had been through so much—caught in a whirlwind of violence and betrayal that neither of them had asked for.And then there was the baby. Ashley’s hand instinctively moved to her stomach, her fingers gently pressing against the small swell. The baby was a part of her now, a tiny life growing inside her, a symbol of everything she wanted to protect. But it also tied her to Adonis in a way she couldn’t escape. No matter how far she ran, the con
The forest surrounding the clearing was eerily silent, the only sound being the crunch of leaves and twigs beneath their feet as Ashley, Amelia, and Demon hurried through the darkness. The adrenaline still coursed through Ashley’s veins, her body on high alert as she glanced behind her, half expecting more of Adonis’s men to appear out of the shadows.Demon moved quickly ahead of them, his gun drawn and eyes sharp as he navigated the dense trees. The tension in his body was palpable, and Ashley couldn’t shake the uneasy feeling that lingered in the air. They had survived the attack, but the danger was far from over.Amelia’s hand tightened around Ashley’s arm, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she struggled to keep up. “How much longer?” she whispered, her voice trembling with fear.Demon’s voice cut through the silence. “Not far. There’s an old cabin deeper in the woods. We’ll be safe there for the night.”Ashley frowned, her mind racing. A cabin in the woods? It sounded too good
The drive away from the café was tense and silent, the only sound being the dull hum of the car engine and the occasional clicking of Demon’s fingers tapping the steering wheel. Ashley sat in the backseat with Amelia, her heart pounding in her chest, every muscle in her body wound tight with anxiety. They were speeding toward an unknown future, running from a man who would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. Ashley’s mind raced, trying to grasp the gravity of the situation. Demon had made a bold move by standing up to Anton, and now they were out of time. Anton had seen her, and he knew about the baby. Whether Demon believed Anton would keep quiet or not, Ashley knew better. Adonis would find out, and when he did, he’d come for her with everything he had.Amelia’s trembling hand squeezed Ashley’s, pulling her from her thoughts. “What if he already knows?” Amelia whispered, her voice laced with fear. “What if Anton told him?”“We don’t have time to think about that right now,” Ashl
Demon stood at the entrance of the café, his tall frame casting a dark shadow over the table where Ashley and Amelia sat. His expression was unreadable, his intense gaze fixed on Amelia. Ashley’s pulse quickened as tension built in the small space, the air thick with uncertainty and unease.Amelia’s eyes flickered with a mix of relief and fear as she locked eyes with Demon. There was no denying the love between them, but the danger that surrounded their relationship loomed like a dark cloud. Ashley could sense it too—an unspoken weight hanging between the three of them.Demon finally broke the silence, his voice low but steady. “We need to talk.”Ashley’s muscles tensed. She wasn’t sure if Demon was here as their protector or if he was still bound by his loyalty to Adonis. She didn’t trust him—not completely. But Amelia’s life, and now her own, was entangled with his.“What’s going on, Demon?” Amelia asked, her voice barely above a whisper, fear lacing every word.Demon took a step cl
