KEISHA only agreed to meet the man who doubted and believed that he left her to die that day because Daimon said that Eros would explain a lot of things to her that only he should. She doesn't want to meet him yet but she has to do what she has to do. "If you didn't want to meet him, why did you even dress like that?" Daimon teased as she saw him behind her from the mirror she was looking at herself in. She looked at him with furrowed brows without answering his question. "Can I not dress to impress?" she asked and he chuckled loudly. Keisha wore a red halter dress that exposed a lot of her cleavage area at the front. It was long enough that it reached her ankles while she was wearing white high heels. Her hair was curled and she wore some makeup but not too much that it looks unnatural. "Sure, whatever way you can try and convince yourself," he answered before rolling his eyes. Keisha breathed heavily and she turned around and told him she was ready. He nodded his head before lea
THE DOOR burst open and Eros looked to see who arrived. He had brought Keisha to the facility after she passed out and was looking after her since. The news reached Shadow who was furious to know what happened and immediately rushed to her room. "What the fuck did you do to her?" he asked while running out of breath. He entered the room and walked towards Eros before grabbing him by the collar and slightly lifting him up. He was aggravated while Eros stayed calm despite being challenged. "What did you do to Keisha?" he asked again, this time, more adamant to get an answer out of him. "I wouldn't harm her, Shadow," he answered, as if he was being accused of a crime already without even having a proper explanation. Before their altercation could get worse, the door opened yet again. Daimon, who just arrived, walked inside with a tired and defeated face. "Nothing will be done if the two of you bark all day," he commented with a sigh before taking a seat on the chair. He opened the ca
The floor was cold and rough, Keisha was in the trunk of a car with no idea what was going on. She could hear the engine vibrate against her ear and feel the movement of the car, driving at a relatively moderate pace. She just woke up again and her senses were hypersensitive while she tried moving around from the small space. Her mouth was tied up and so were her arms but not her legs. She could not speak or scream even if she wanted to. However, she was calm and collected. She wondered how long it had been since she was laying there like she had no life. Minutes? Hours? She couldn't keep track anymore. All she knows is how dark and cold the back of a car can be. The car came to a halt and she heard the door at the front of the car open and close. She stiffened as the sight of the limelight made her eyes hurt. After hours of being kept in the dark, she finally saw light again. Though, it was still relatively dark. It was night and there was barely any noise in the area. She only h
Her face showed no remorse for what she just did. This was the first time in a while that she just ended someone. Nothing changed, she was still the same ruthless assassin she was before. Instead of thinking about what she just did, she rolled under the car to hide herself from everyone there. She breathed heavily as she dropped the gun and started taking off the rope around her ankles while gunshots were heard from the distance. "Where is that bitch?!" She clenched her jaw as she heard Ellaine's high-pitched and annoying voice. When she got the rope off, she grabbed the gun again before taking a peep outside. She can see the shoes that Ellaine always wears beside her. How protected can she be that she's just standing there without worrying about getting shot? She slid her hand inside the pants she was wearing and grabbed something that she placed underneath her clothes. She has no way of contact with the others so this was the only thing she could do. It's a small button that has
Eros was closer to the car, on the brink of hitting it. When they reached the bridge, the metal floor and ridges were rusted. It looked so old yet it was able to hold their weight. The sound of the metal clinking against the motorcycle wheels was loud and rough. Once they reached the middle of the bridge, he commanded Daimon to get ready. A few minutes later, both the car and motorcycle reached the end of the bridge and were able to drive faster once they were out of the metal ground. "Now!" His scream echoed in the woods as they drove further. Without looking back, he already knew they were far enough from what was about to erupt. Daimon pressed a button creating a loud and deafening sound at the very start of the bridge. The noise was so loud that everyone cringed from the screeching noise. Those who were driving in the middle of the bridge felt eerie. It felt like the bridge to their deaths. Turns out, their worst fear and the worst thing that could happen in this scenario woul
ELLAINE received a massive slap across the face from her father. She already expected this with no doubt in mind. She acted calm and collected when she was driven back to the city but now, she has to deal with her father's wrath. "You killed most of our men, YOU caused us to lose manpower!" Again, she was slapped across her face. She stood there with a cold expression as if unbothered. Malcolm, who was in the same room as them, stood up from his seat and approached the father-and-daughter duo. "I'm sure your daughter has a backup plan, doesn't she?" he butted in with a small smile toward Ellaine. She nodded her head. "Yes, trust me, father." Malcolm smiled as he massaged her father’s shoulders. “Take a break, will you? I’m sure your daughter will do just fine,” he convinced the old man as they walked away from Ellaine who had a red face from all the slaps. Malcolm turned his head back and smirked at her and she looked away. She looked like a mess. Her clothes were torn apart, she
"Eat you for breakfast or eat breakfast with you?" he asked with a teasing grin and she scoffed and pushed him away. She stomped her way towards the others and Jake ran towards her. He raised his hands up asking to get picked up and she easily did so. "How have you been? I didn't know you were visiting here," she said in a childish voice. "He's actually going to stay here for a while," Daimon answered, and her lips agape a little before she turned towards Eros with a curious look. He shrugged his shoulders and she smiled widely. (Seems like he cared after all,) she thought to herself. "I'm glad you're alive, Keisha. You didn't have to keep your secret from me," James uttered, feeling insulted and betrayed. She laughed loudly and shook her head. She didn't know how much chaos her fake death would cause the twin brothers until it was told to her. "Why don't we get breakfast?" she asked them and they nodded their heads. She carried Jake all the way back to the mansion with ease. But b
