Chapter 97 - Relying on Her

The floor was cold and rough, Keisha was in the trunk of a car with no idea what was going on. She could hear the engine vibrate against her ear and feel the movement of the car, driving at a relatively moderate pace. She just woke up again and her senses were hypersensitive while she tried moving around from the small space.

Her mouth was tied up and so were her arms but not her legs. She could not speak or scream even if she wanted to. However, she was calm and collected.

She wondered how long it had been since she was laying there like she had no life. Minutes? Hours? She couldn't keep track anymore. All she knows is how dark and cold the back of a car can be.

The car came to a halt and she heard the door at the front of the car open and close. She stiffened as the sight of the limelight made her eyes hurt. After hours of being kept in the dark, she finally saw light again. Though, it was still relatively dark.
