81. Not a Luna anymore

Tension crept into every corner of the room. Two tall men dragged a woman by her arm in and sat her on a chair right across from a man who had been sitting there.

Dave ordered his two men to leave them alone, he didn't speak a word and regarded Angeline for a few moments. He finally had to bring her here with some coercion because she kept making excuses not to come.

Angeline avoided eye contact. Her shoulder tensed, and she fiddled with her fingers restlessly.

"You must already know why I called you here,"

He waited for her to begin to speak because this meeting with her had only one purpose, to hear the confession from her mouth. But the woman kept her mouth glued tightly, and he started to lose his patience.

She raised her gaze to meet his eyes after long moments looking down at the gray marble floor. "You ordered them to break down onto my room and drag me away like a prisoner" sounds offended.
