Chapter 126

Lucy's pov;

The constant ringing of the bell woke me up. When I got out of bed, the door opened and I was able to squeeze the covers around my neck. A maid came in and started working by folding the sheets. I sighed and let go of the blanket and walked into the bathroom. The slamming of the bathroom door made me jump in and out of the shower quickly. I put on a dress I don't want to wear and went downstairs to have breakfast. I sat with my head down, far away from the family I live with.

While eating, I heard Mr Johnson talking, "I'm going to Hawaii tonight for a business meeting. Since it's an important meeting, don't call me until it's an emergency."

I continued to eat as he talked about his trip to Hawaii.

Jake interrupted him by saying, "I'm going to my friends' party tonight."

"No. You're not going anywhere."

"I didn't ask for your permission. I'm going to the party if you don't allow me."

"I'll cut your allowance if I hear you went there."

"I don't care." With that, he left
