Chapter 130

Lucy's pov;

While I was waiting in the lobby, I saw Tyler heading straight for the elevator as soon as he stepped inside the company. Should I talk to him?

"What are you doing here?" Daniel asked me as I looked at the elevator.

I turned to him and asked, "Do you think this will work?"

He sighed and said, "If you want to know, come with me instead of staring into space."

Daniel and I entered the elevator and when the elevator car went up I felt all eyes on me, so I locked my eyes on the floor instead of looking at them. Daniel put his hand on my shoulder and said, "What's on your mind?"

I shook my head and said, "I'm starting to doubt the plan we came up with."

He took his hand from my shoulder and said, "Don't worry about it, I'll help you if anything goes wrong."

When the people in the elevator got off on the fifth floor, I asked Daniel, "Can I ask you something?"
