Returning from the bank after confirming that the card really has a sum of $20 billion in it, it felt like a dream but I couldn't be more happier.

I will say my life is full of luck, "Well, Stubbornness pays sometime"

"Miss, Is time to get down" Nelly said as I looked up to realize that we've reached home.

As if expecting me, I saw Jeremy standing in front glaring at me as I got down from the car, "Oh, you finally decided to come back." He walked up to me but I was too happy to engage in his fight, ignoring him I walked past him and headed into and house.

Getting to the living room, I saw that Mom and Dad were still sitting there as if waiting for me to come back, "Why are you guys there as if I did something wrong?" I raised my brows slightly and walked to the sofa to sit down.

Mom glared at me as I felt cold down my spine, "What did you achieve by going there to confront him? Aren't you embarrassed enough by everything that is going on with us?" She slapped the glass table enough for it to break but fortunately it was one of high quality.

"I actually achieved a lot" I shrugged and spoke slowly, bringing out the card I placed it on the table, "The amount inside that card should be able to help you pay off the Debts that we have a start up the company again" I bit my lips slightly, my eyes moving from mom, to dad and to my brother.

"I know you have your pocket money which you hardly spend, but this will not lead us anywhere. It is yours, you can do with it whatever you want to do." Jeremy pushed the card back to me while Dad nodded in agreement.

"Actually, I sold my paintings for a high price"

"Which paintings? And how much of a high price did you sale it? You are not even a professional painter!" Mom squinted her eyes as she asked me series of questions.

"It just happened. They are paintings that I gave that stupid boy..." I went on to explain everything that happened to them.

"I can't believe that he had the audacity to try and sell your paintings, and that cousin of yours wanted to take your name as her own? How shameless and low to thar family have to go before they stop!" Mom's voice became high pitched as she yelled put her frustrations.

"I'm not even surprised at the moment, they can do anything to see our downfall!" Dad mumbled and sighed then turned to look at me, "So how much did the man buy the paintings and who is this man?"

"$20 billion" I blunted out while looking at their facial expressions,

"Oh, $20 billion... That's fair..." After speaking, Dad paused for a while as he had a moment of realization.

"$20 billion?! Who is that crazy to buy a painting of that amount!" Dad asked but Brother and Mom were completely unfazed.

"You are believing your daughter. You know that's how she is. There is no way, someone will buy a common painting. Especially for someone that is not a popular artist."

"Well, Here is my bank statement since you do not believe me" I passed it over to them waiting to see the disbelief on their face turn to shock.

It wasn't long before she got what she wanted to see, "Why do you have $20 billion in your account! And the transaction was made today"

"Who the hell gave you this card?"

"I'm not sure, All I know is that his name is Mr. Alexander. I don't know anything about him. For some strange reason, he wanted to buy everything so I just gave it to him. And he paod a huge sum too" I shrugged.

"Didn't I teach you not to accept anything from a stranger?!" Mom knocked me before I even realized it

"Why are you hitting me?! Are we still keeping our pride after everything that we went through?! This is enough to pay off our debts, there is no time to think of anything, is it until our home and company is taken away from us?!" I moved back rubbing my head.

"I think Luna is right. He bought her paintings, so it is not a one sided transaction." Jeremy sided with me as I smiled, this meant that I was s step closer to convincing them... Like, they listen to Jeremy more than they listen to me.

"But, isn't this amount too much for a common painting. And what if she is lying?!" Mom was still adamant.

"Luna, don't even have friends how do you think she will be able to lie to you? And Luna, paints so well... That price is decent, it means that she can be a popular artist in future" Jeremy looked at yhr both of them.

"Well, With that mom we can at least sort out our debts. But let no one find out about what happened here! Your uncle's eyes is still here and until has made sure that nothing is left of us, I don't think he will ever let us go." The moment mom agreed, I knew the case was settled and Dad wasn't a problem.

We all turned to look at him as he sighed, "Let's do as your mother said!" I smiled brightly as I already expected that.

"But, Luna this is your money. So Dad will definitely pay you back when the company is running again.

"I already have a stock there, so there is no need. We are Family by the way. Just increase my shares by 1%." I suggested.

"What about increasing it by 3%, that will make it 10%" Jeremy suggested.

"Brother, aren't you scared of me taking the company from you?" I couldn't help but tease him

"Do you want to? I'm tired of being the successor" He looked at me seriously.

"No thank you. I will rather stay home and do nothing." I turned and made my way back to my room.

"Does that mean, I don't have to return the books that I bought?"

"Do whatever you want!" They didn't even bother to look at me as they started talking about business already.

I walked to my room, and jumped on the bed while looking up at the ceiling. As someone who has never helped them in anything, I'm happy that I was able to help this time around.

Everything will get back to the way they were soon enough, just as I was basking in my joy my phone tinged. I picked it up to see what the notification was about.

"Miss Lunavia Luminari, Don't forget the appointment tomorrow..." The time and venue was attached.

Fortunately I didn't tell my family about this, they would have rejected the card.
