‘’Here, have this,’’ I handed over to Dominic a bottle of water which he visibly gulped and panted for breath. I rubbed his back as he wiped his mouth.

‘’I am never riding that again,’’ he told me and I burst into laughter. I never expected that something like that would make Dominic seem so vulnerable. I had always seen him acting tough, especially around me and those that he didn’t like but I never knew that he would fear something like that.

‘’I have something against ridding ferris, rollercoasters, and any other rides because it makes my head spin and I always tend to throw up each time,’’ he heaved a deep sigh and raised his head. When he looked at me, he smiled. ‘’we better go find the children,’’ he said and I nodded in response.

‘’Alright. Don’t you think the sky is beautiful tonight,’’ I said as I pointed to the sky. The stars were exceptionally beautiful tonight as if they already knew that we were coming there for a family fun fair.
