Chapter Fifty

Karen's POV

As soon as we stepped out of the doctor's office. I found Brody in the hallway, he had removed the drip on his body and was staring at me. I looked at the doctor and he stared at me with a blank expression. Brody was walking towards me as everyone looked at him in amazement.

When he finally got to my side, he hugged me. For a minute, it felt like we were the only ones in the world. I wanted us to be together forever. I slowly released myself from him. "Karen," he called out and looked at me with a smile. "I love you so much."

He finally said those words. "I love you too." I replied and hugged him again. The nurses escorted him back to his ward and my mom turned to face the doctor. "What just happened?" She asked him.

The doctor narrowed his eyes at me. His expression, troubled. He stared at me as if he was confused. I had never seen him so shocked. "I must have switched the medical reports mistakenly. You should go and stay with Brody and try to see if he rem
