Chapter 23. A Deal with Jaren

Clarabelle and Jordan turned to Susan. Clarabelle stood up and walked over to Susan.

"Thanks for coming," Clarabelle said.

"How's your daddy?" asked Susan. Her eyes glanced at Jordan. The man was indeed very handsome. Even in his perfunctory costume, just a little tight t-shirt and jeans, he looked cool.

"He's gotten a little better. Papa is still sleeping," Clarabelle replied.

Clarabelle turned to Jordan. "Jordan..."

Jordan raised his head and stood up. "Okay. I'll go home. If you need anything just let me know. Okay?"

Jordan stepped over to Clarabelle. He grabbed Clarabelle's shoulder, then kissed the beautiful woman's lips and walked away.

“You are lucky to have such a good husband. The crazy rich, but willing to accept you as you are. What are you dreaming of, La?” Susan watched Jordan keep walking without looking back.

Clarabelle smiled faintly. Susan's words filled Clarabelle's heart with gratitude. Her choice to follow the reality show at that time was not wrong. In the tough s
