Chapter 27

Sophia nodded, feeling embarrassed at her own weakness. "Yeah, from William. He made me drink more than I could handle."

Andrew shook his head, his eyes flashing with anger. "That guy never knows when to stop. I think I can help though," he said, walking over to the fridge.

Sophia watched as Andrew rummaged through the fridge, looking for something. He brought out a couple of ice blocks and put them in a transparent zip lock bag.

Turning to face her, he held the bag out to her. "Here, place this on your head. It will help with the headache."

Sophia reached up to collect the ice block from Andrew, but Andrew shook his head. "Nah... Don't worry, I'll do it, just relax," he said, gently placing the ice block back on her forehead.

She felt a wave of gratitude wash over her. Andrew was always so thoughtful and caring towards her.

She closed her eyes, enjoying the cool sensation of the ice on her skin. She felt safe and secure with Andrew by her side.
