Chapter 04—Leo, a friend.

Jenny came to the house to take care of the kids.

She is making Anna prepare for school.

Jenny is making Anna's hair while Anna is playing with her teddy.

     "Jenny, why didn't you come yesterday?" Anna turned back to Jenny and questioned her while looking at her making a bunny face.

Jenny shut her mouth for a couple of seconds, not understanding what to reply to.

She bites her lips, looking at Anna. Jenny doesn't want to share her problem with a baby girl.

Jenny wants to make Anna happy but not worry about her.

Jenny smiled while touching her cheek.

   "I SPENT SOME TIME WITH MY MOTHER."

   "You spent time with your mother?" Anna sounded sad while bending her eyes down, thinking about her mother. Anna never spent time with her mother and even didn't see her.

Anna feels down while pressing her teddy with both hands.

    "What happened, baby?" Jenny asked while grabbing her chin and making her look.

   "How did you feel when you spent time with your mother?" Anna looked at Jenny while tears started rolling in her eyes.

    "I have never spent time with my mother!" Anna sobbed.

Jenny steps back in response, reacting to her emotion.

    "Jenny, why isn't my mom with me?" The tears rolled down Anna's cheek.

    "Does she hate me?" Anna sobbed while Jenny nodded her head in a denied way.

   "No, baby!" Jenny muttered while taking her cheeks into her hands.

   "Can anybody hate a cute baby like you?" Jenny chuckled while making her comfortable.

   "Then why is my mother not with me?" Anna sobbed while tears were rolling down her cheeks.

Jenny's brain stops working for a few seconds, but she can't tolerate her tears.

She loves Anna so much after her mother; she is literally connected with her.

   "I don't know about your mother!" Jenny sighed.

     "But I love you very much." Jenny sounded so excited.

Anna wipes her tears in response, looking at her.

   "How much do you love me?"

    "I love you infinitely!" Jenny replied while parting her lips, and the smile arousing on their lips is super strong.

Anna chuckled while interlocking her hands around Jenny and hugging her.

   "I also love you so much!"

Jenny chuckled while hugging Anna tight.

   "I love you, my baby," Jenny muttered while breaking the hug and kissing her on the forehead.

Anna chuckled, and she felt her mother's vibe whenever Jenny kissed her.

    "Do you want to dance with me for a moment to your favourite song?" Jenny winked at Anna, placing her hand on her waist.

Anna nodded her head about ten times.

Jenny jumped toward the table, turning on the music. 

A BTS song plays in the background: SMOOTH LIKE BUTTER.

Anna and Jenny are both BTS fans; they are just alike.

As the song starts playing in the background, both girls jump on the bed while dancing.

Jenny is moving her body and hands about the lyrics, and Anna is such a sweetheart—she is just moving her waist left and right while tilting her head.

Jenny spins her body, tilting her head, when her eyes capture Austin, who is leaning against the door, crossing his arms.

     "Oh my!" Jenny shut her mouth while placing her hand on her mouth, looking at Austin with wide eyes.

Jenny giggled, embarrassed, while stepping back and turning off the song.

Anna looked at Jenny with her bunny face before turning back.

Ryan was with Austin as well; he crossed his arms, looking at the girls with a crazy expression.

Ryan doesn't like this type of stuff, LoL!

Ryan sighed while nodding his head like an old man: I am done with you guys.

Ryan turned back, stepping out of the room.

Jenny blinked her eyes while interlocking her hair behind her ear, while Austin looked at her without blinking his eyes even once.

To be honest, things are running through his mind.

The moment he saw her dancing with his daughter, he felt super amazing.

Jenny was dancing with Anna like a mother sharing happiness with her daughter.

    "DADDY!" Anna sounded while grabbing his attention.

Austin said, Hmm," nodding his head with a smile on his aroused lips.

    "We are getting late for school." Austin rolled his eyes at Jenny, who was biting her lips.

    "Doll, shall we go to school now?" He looked down at Anna while grabbing her little hand.

Anna nodded her head with a smile while Jenny picked up her bag.

All three come out of the room and start coming down the stairs.

Anna was holding both Austin's and Jenny's hands from one side.

They really look like a father, daughter, and mother.

On the other hand, Ryan looks at them, blinking his eyes.

He never thought to make Jenny his mother, but time has changed.

She became a very important person in the family.

Jenny gives Ryan his lunch box as soon as she reaches the hallway.

     "This is your lunch box, young master."

    "Thank you!" Ryan looked at Jenny for a second, who was smiling at him.

He takes the lunchbox, putting the box into his bag.

Later, Jenny picks up Anna's lunch box and puts it in her bag, then all of them make their way out.

Four of them are walking together; the kids are standing between Austin and Jenny.

Anna is grabbing Jenny's hand.

They are looking like a real family—a happy mom, dad, and kids.

The bunch of guards stay with Austin always and forever for his protection. After all, Austin has a bunch of enemies who are looking to shut him down.

Austin is the king of the business industry; he doesn't listen to anyone and doesn't bother; he is his boss.

But yeah, he doesn't let the guards interfere with his family time, so the guards are following him in a separate car.

Soon, they reach the school, and Jenny helps the kids wear their bags.

    "Bye, Daddy and Jenny!" Anna smiled while parting her lips and shaking her hand.

    "Bye, sweetheart." Jenny chuckled, kissing Anna on the cheek, while Ryan didn't care to say bye to Jenny and Austin.

He is just a carbon copy of Austin; he talks only when he needs it.

    "Let's go; we are getting late." Ryan sounded cold while grabbing Anna's hand.

Anna turns back and looks at her father and Jenny while again waving her hand with a beautiful smile.

   "Bye!" Jenny synced her lips while Austin looked at her, placing his hand in the pocket before rolling his eyes at her lips, the smile arousing her lips, and that made her so beautiful and shiny.

He never noticed her before, but damn, now he is finding her so beautiful and attractive—her pinkish lips are so tempting.

She is looking so happy while watching Anna and Ryan going to school like a mother—the way her behaviour and personality are pulling him toward her.

When Jenny feels Austin's presence, she looks at him. She is very close to him; his shoulder is touching hers.

    "What happened, boss?" She muttered.

She can't see his expression because he is wearing sunglasses on his face.

     "Let me drop you off at the hospital." He turned his face immediately, sitting in the car, hiding his feelings from her.

    "Sit down; your mother will be waiting for you there!" He said without looking at her that he had already opened the door for her.

She chuckled and smiled at his concern. She thought to ask his permission and visit her mother, but now he is just taking her.

She is so happy that she quickly gets in the car.

Austin dropped Jenny off at the hospital and talked to the doctor.

Tomorrow is the day of surgery, so he told Jenny to stay with her mother for the rest of the day.

Austin is going to his floor through the elevator; however, the doors open, and he finds his best friend, Leo, standing there while flirting with female employees.

    "You know something, sweetheart!" Leo pulled at her cheek.

    "What?" The female employee looked at him.

    "You are like sunshine, and my life is dark without you." Leo winked at the female employee, making her blush. On the other hand, Austin rolled his eyes coming out of the elevator.

    "Oh my god, are you flirting with me?" The female employee chuckled.

   "Ops, no way!" Leo nodded his head ten times, making a bunny face.

    "I am saying that you are beautiful, and I am asking you out for a date." He takes her hand while placing a kiss on her palm.

    "Become my girlfriend, and then I will make you the queen of my life and also of my apartment and car."

Austin scoffed while placing his hand in his pocket, nodding his head with a frustrated smile.

Haha, he knew Leo was a universe-flirting boy.

On the other hand, the female employee was blushing like hell.

    "Aww, you are so sweet."

    "Then give me your phone number, sweetie!" Leo said while taking out his phone, but meanwhile, Austin interfered while grabbing Leo's collar.

    "Get back to your work." Austin looked at the female employee for a second, making her jump in place.

    "Boss!" She runs out of the place immediately, leaving Leo behind her. No one can stand against Austin.

He is so strict and maintains discipline in his office.

    "Oh, my baby, where are you running?" Leo sounded, trying to go ahead, but Austin grabbed his collar behind him.

    "Come back to me!" Leo sounded like a kid while Austin pulled him back while tightening his grip around the collar.

    "BACK OFF, MAN!" Austin said while dragging Leo with him.

    "Leave me, man; I'll sue you for breaking up a relationship with my girl." Leo yelled at the top of his lungs, making fun.

    "Leave me; I want to go to my love. I want a girlfriend." Leo parted his hands while shouting like an idiot, and on the other hand, the staff were standing there looking at Leo.

   "If you don't bring the AS project file now, then next second I will fire you from this office, and I will make sure that you will not be one of the board of directors!" Austin looked at Leo and warned him while showing his finger.

Leo looks at Austin, making a puppy face.

  "Hehe, c'mon, we are brothers." Leo said this while hitting his hand on Austin's shoulder.

   "I love you so much." Leo chuckled while making a heart symbol with his hand and acting cute.

Austin rolled his eyes and showed his middle finger before stepping out.

"BRO!" Leo shouted and chuckled, running after Austin.

Austin and Leo have been best friends since the fifth grade; they were together all the time.

They laughed and cried together, sharing happiness along with pain.

Leo is the only one who was always with Austin and shared his pain with his happiness.

Leo is not a friend of Austin, but he considers Leo his brother and a family member.

Austin shares everything with Leo. But both are from two different worlds and have different personalities.

If Austin is an arrogant and cold person, then Leo is a flirty person who prefers having fun with everyone.

Austin shared the thought of marriage with Leo.

   "Are you serious?" Leo chuckled after being in shock for a minute.

    "You are thinking of getting married?"

Austin sounded like HMM."

    "May I ask why the thought of marriage came into your mind out of the blue?"

    "My kids need a mother!" Austin looked at Leo.

      

   "All the girls who proposed to me only wanted me, so I never showed interest!"

    "But now I've found a girl who can give love to my children more than me."

    "Who is she?" Leo inquired, and he is looking so serious; yes, he is possessive of Austin.

   "Jenny!" Austin muttered, and a smile appeared on his lips.

   "The caretaker of your kids!" Leo's eyes widened as soon as Austin nodded his head for confirmation.

    "YOU CAN'T HURT HER, AUSTIN!" Leo sounded cold, grabbing Austin's attention.

Leo is looking so serious, and Austin has never seen Leo take his name so seriously.
