"Yes. What do you want! " Ethan asked impatiently as soon as he opened the door. Scarlet did not answer immediately as she was busy propping her head inside his office. It was as if she was expecting to see someone walk out of the room. When things did not turn out as she had expected, she turned her attention to Ethan and asked while she had her brows furrowed in confusion.

"Where is Aviana? She left her office immediately you left? She told me she would be back shortly? And, who were you talking with in your office?"

"How am I supposed to know where she went to? Did you employ me to keep a track of her all the time?" he asked indifferently and ignored the last part of the question.

"But, she left as soon as you left? I'm pretty sure she ran after you. So, she must have gone into your room," insisted Scarlet.

"For your information, she did not come into my office."

"B–but I heard someone talking inside your office. I'm very sure it was her voice I heard," she said, convinced
