"Did you sort everything out at the office? Lucas asked me as I walked into the house, he was sitting on the couch with his laptop on his lap. I nodded and leaned in closer, and he placed a kiss on my forehead.

"Your Dad asked about you before he left, I told him you had to leave early because of the meeting, and I also told him we would be leaving for Los Angeles today."

"Oh, that's true, do you know I even forgot to tell them grandma, I will go see her right now, maybe I will call my Dad later if he does not come back before we leave."
