Chapter 22: We Have to Move In.

"Where did you say she went to?" I asked Mrs. Helen.

"She said her grandmother sent for her."

After speaking with Mrs. Helen, I walked back upstairs; if her grandmother had sent for her, there could only be one reason. Mia had foolishly informed them about the video.

I had a very important project that required my full attention, and if it had not been for Olivia's constant calls in the middle of my meeting, I would not have returned. When I got some space, I called Mrs. Helen, who said Olivia was fine and had been with a friend earlier, so I relaxed.

But when her calls kept coming in, I needed to know if anything was wrong. But her phone was no longer connecting, so I went home, unaware that she had gone to Ventura.

I considered going over there, but I was not sure if my presence would be needed, so I opted to stay back.

I went straight to the washroom and took a warm, relaxing bath, which I had not had in two days due to work.
