It has been about two months since the funeral and nothing has happened. School has resumed as normal and everyone acts as if the attacks never happened. I stopped receiving flowers or any threats of any kind. I highly doubt whoever this person is just gave up. Something is going to happen soon, I can feel it.
Dad finally backed off some of my guard but not all of them. I still have two outside my door but at least I have privacy and none are stationed inside my apartment. I went from twelve guards to six so at least I can feel like I can breathe again.
I head downstairs early to help the morning shift open. After Olivia, Oliver and I have breakfast we hop in my car and head to school. It’s been busy after the holidays and the basketball team has been on fire with winning every single game so far.

MaliyahThere are so many people here that I am not sure they all attend Palmetto High. Many are leaning against trees with beers in their hands and making out. I even catch sight of Olivia with her crush and they are making out as well. Luca gets us some sticks for our s’mores and puts marshmallows at the end. We talk about everything and nothing at the same time while we get our marshmallows to a golden brown.Luca grabs us plates of graham crackers and chocolate for us and I smash my marshmallow between the crackers, melting the chocolate.
