Meeting the Student Council

Ben met me backstage. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed me on the cheek (I figured the only reason he didn’t seek out my lips was because all of the council members had followed us out now, and he didn’t want to embarrass me, not that it would have.) “That was great, Harlow,” he said. “The Clydesdale horse was amazing.”

“Thanks,” I said with a smile. “I didn’t want to be an elephant again.”

“It blows my mind that you can be anything you want to be,” he said, taking my hand. “I can’t wait until we get back home so you can be a wolf and come run around with us.”
