Mia's POV

Xavier returned after taking that call. He seemed somewhat off. I tried to talk to him about what was bothering him, but he changed the topic every time, saying nothing was serious enough for me to worry about.

After breakfast, we went to our room and had a jacuzzi bath together. It was so hot to sit on his lap, being all naked and touching skin to skin, while he washed me. He enjoyed bathing me in the tub. He took a loofah and began gently rubbing my back. His hands glided to the front, grabbing and massaging my breasts. His other hand moved under the water and squeezed my butt. He kissed my neck, nibbling my skin, making me moan. I didn't realize it when he entered me and began thrusting. I let myself get lost in our intimate bath. After our bath, he made love to me in our bed. This had become our favorite bath time routine.

He was slowly making me crave him more. My body began responding to his touch and closeness. We used to sleep together, wrapped in each other's arm

Mia's POV We spent the whole week on the yacht. Xavier made love to me in every corner and in every room of the yacht. He was so hot, wild, and dominating. I liked this side of him. But at the same time, he pampered me and showered me with care and affection. I was really lucky to have him as my husband. Before our marriage, I was scared to think that marrying a rich and handsome man like Xavier would be the nightmare of my life. I was so wrong. I was happy that he was nothing like my father. Not every man in this world is heartless. He showed me so many times that he had a heart, but only for me. He was so gentle and spoke so softly to me, unlike when he was with others. During our stay on the yacht, Xavier kept switching between a stressed and happy mood. But I knew something was bothering him. He didn’t want me to be worried about anything. He told me to be stress-free, happy, and always ready for him. Oh my God! He can make me come just by talking with his dirty tongue.

Mia's POV I woke up hearing the sound of the main door opening. Throwing my legs down, I sat up straight on the couch. Xavier came in. He was holding his jacket in his hand, and the tie hung low around his neck. He had folded his sleeves to the elbow, and the top buttons of his white shirt were also open. He was looking tired and exhausted. "Hey!" He smiled at me and then glanced at his wristwatch. "You are awake. Why didn't you sleep?" I stood up and went towards him. I took his bag and jacket from him. "I was waiting for you," I replied. He wrapped an arm around me, and we headed towards our bedroom. Ascending the stairs, I asked him, "How was your day?" "Hmmm... it was... good. How was your day?" he asked me back. "I went to school and brought so much pending work home. I spent the whole evening completing my pending work," I was blabbering, trying to make an excuse to ask him about coming with me to my parents' house. "Ok. It seemed to be a long day for you. But the good

Mia's POVI was full of mixed emotions when I reached my parents' home. I was going to see my father after almost a month and return to the house where I lived for eighteen years of my life. The car stopped at the door of the Valerio mansion, and my heart started thumping loudly in my chest due to nervousness. My old family never liked me. I was reconsidering my decision to come here for lunch, and Xavier wasn't with me. Oh God, help me. Since childhood, I used to be nervous around them, and this habit couldn't change in a few days. I took a deep breath. I was now Mrs. Leonardi, and I didn't need to be intimidated by anyone. The bodyguard in the front seat of my car stepped out and held the door open for me. When I slid out of the car and placed my feet on the ground, looking at the house, all the memories of my past years in this house came flooding back into my mind, making me more nervous. I didn't have good memories here. When I entered the hall, Andrea and my father were sitting

Andrea Valerio's POV The drug we added to her juice started working, and she passed out. When she mentioned that Xavier would also be coming, I literally panicked. I had to think and do something quickly before he arrived. I didn't want to agree when Marco told me about his plan. I was afraid of being caught and its consequences. But when we discussed his plan in detail, his offer was tempting. He made me believe his plan was foolproof and that we would be unharmed. Only one person would be at risk, Mia. I found that no one would care about Mia if something happened to her. My only worry was Xavier. He had become careful and worried about Mia. But they were only married for a month. Mia's POV I woke up startled when cold water splashed on my face. I forced open my eyes as I was still half awake. My mind was still not working properly for some reason. This only pointed to one thing: I was given something to lose my consciousness. I saw I was tied to a chair. My hands and legs were also tied. "Wake up, you slut," I heard a manly voice, and when I looked up, I saw Uncle Marco standing surrounded by scary-looking men. "Un... Uncle Marco. Why am I kept tied here? What's going on?" I asked him while tugging at the ropes. "Because you will go to hell, which is the most suitable place for you to reside in," he said with a scowl on his face. The men behind him started laughing at me, making me more nervous. "Oh, you dumb girl, you didn't get my point. I mean, if you want to meet your mother, I can help you with that," he said, mocking me. I frowned as I heard about my mother. Why the hell did he want to insult her even after her death? Mia's POV Xavier regained consciousness after six hours, but he was still asleep because the doctors gave him sedatives to suppress the pain. Xavier's mother wanted to take me home because bodyguards were standing outside the room 24/7, and nurses were present inside to attend to him anytime. But my heart didn’t want to leave him alone here in the hospital. I insisted on staying with him. My father came to me and said, "Mia, don’t worry about anything. He is fine and recovering fast. You are not alone, dear. Call me for anything." This was the first time my father showed concern for me, and I was surprised, unable to decide whether I could trust him or not. What if he changed later, becoming cold and heartless toward me again? They all left one by one, and I was now alone with Xavier. I sat beside his bed and kept looking at his face. I caressed his head and brushed some hair back from his forehead. Bending over, I kissed his temple and murmured, "Recover soon, honey. I want to h

Mia's POV I was in a vast hall with a dining table full of different foods. I noticed Emma and Adam sitting there. Emma looked at me and smiled cunningly, but I averted my eyes. Adam wasn’t looking at me at all, completely ignoring me. To my surprise, Don Nikolai pulled out a chair for me. I settled into it reluctantly. Some butlers arrived and began serving the meal. I glanced at the food on my plate, then at Don Nikolai. He chuckled before saying, "I ordered them to prepare all your favorite dishes for dinner." I wasn’t surprised that he knew my favorite foods—Emma and Adam had all the information about me. I chose to remain silent and started eating from my plate. Don Nikolai kept staring at me with his dark eyes the entire time, making me feel uncomfortable. Suddenly, I heard noises coming from the doorway. A man rushed in and whispered something into Don Nikolai’s ear. He nodded and said, “Bring them inside.” My heart began to race as I heard footsteps approaching. My ey

Mia's POV I couldn’t believe Emma and Adam could do this to me. I trusted them. We were best friends. But they used me as a pawn in their games. I was so unfortunate to have always been betrayed by my trust. Was trusting and being emotionally attached my mistake? Was this why I always ended up in trouble? Why can’t I be heartless and selfish like the people around me? I was locked in a room. It didn’t feel like a prison—it was a luxurious room. I kept wondering why they had kidnapped me and kept me here. What did they want from me? I came out of my thoughts when I heard the sound of the door opening. Emma entered, holding a tray in her hand. "Who are you exactly, Emma? I’m sure you’re not my friend. Why have you kept me captive here?" I shouted in anger, hurt by their betrayal. "Keep your voice low," she said in a bored voice. "If Don hears you, you’ll be in great trouble. Just some friendly advice, Mia," she added, winking at me, making me scowl. "Why did you do this to m

"Okay, son, I think we can work on that." After my dad left, I thought about our conversation once more. I really needed to confess my love to Mia before it was too late. I had planned to confess my love and propose to Mia to marry me again. I told Matteo to make the arrangements perfectly. By now, everything should have been done. I just called Matteo to check on the progress. "Hey, Matteo, I hope you’ve made all the arrangements because tonight I am going to surprise Mia. I can’t wait another day," I asked impatiently. I was getting frustrated now. What did he want to prove? I didn’t like to hear anything bad about Mia. After a long silence, Dad spoke again, "Xavier, I hope you remember that you have to be in this marriage only for three years according to the contract." Actually, he had everything. I couldn’t think of what to give him as a birthday present that would be unique and meaningful. Then I realized we didn’t have any wedding pictures or pictures together in our house. I found it exciting to make some collages of our wedding pictures. Of course, I had a whole month, so I could secretly capture more of our romantic moments together, get them printed, and fix them in some beautiful frames. Yes, that would be a great idea. So, we decided to visit some photo shops to select frames and book them for Xavier’s birthday. After returning from the shopping mall, I felt exhausted and tired, as if I had been away from home for a full day. But in reality, only a few hours of outings had worn me out.
