Chapter 01

CHANDRIA CODWELL

After i land my feet on the ground i stood up quickly and check for the files that we needed.

I start walking that follows of an explosion of the building kung san ako galing. I jump off kase from the second floor because if i don't i'm gonna die because of the explosion.

"Chan!" i turn my gaze to the guy who call my name. I walk near him and—

"Fuck you! If you wanna kill me then tell me!" I punch him!

"Ah-shit, sorry! It's an accident we drop the remote!" My anger burst and so i punch him again mas malakas nga lang.

"for the nth time you almost killed me!" I glare at her kasabay ng pag sulpot ng isang babaeng kinaiinisan ko.

"Jacob!" I glare at the both of them. "Why did you punch him?!"

"oh sorry, Gusto mo ba ikaw sapakin ko?" I ask full of sarcasm before i leave them.

Kinailangan kong makipag trabaho sa kanila para makuha ang files na kailangan ko since they both know the one who keep on messing my business but, if i have a choice i won't work with them.

I took my handkerchief from my pants and tinali ito sa braso ko na nadaplisan ng bala, i also wipe my wound around my body na gawa ng pag sabog.

After that i ride my big bike and drove away leaving that place and those people.

It took me half an hour before i reach our house, sinadya kong bagalan dahil nakirot ang braso ko everytime i try to move it.

"Hey! You okay?" Sinalubong ako agad ni kuya cayden, my eldest brother.

"I guess so, but it hurts a bit" I answer and so he guided me to our sofa.

I put the files that i needed when kuya left me para kunin yung first aid kit and hindi din nag tagal at naka balik na siya.

"I told you ako nalang gagawa." Kuya stated.

"Its okay bro, besides its my business who's currently in trouble because of that asshole." I answered and he just chuckled and finish what he is doing.

After that he said na may meeting sila ni kuya clarenze sa isang investor kaya aalis muna siya so i decided to go to my room and take a nap.

"I'm s-sorry, i n-need to go s-si-yeon p-please let g-go!" M-mom? No! Don't leave us!

"M-mom please d-don't go—aahh! I-it hurts! mommy p-please! Aahhh! H-help me! Aaahhh i can't...i c-can't!" T-tears keep on flowing from my eyes.

"Ah! Damn it! M-my c-chest hurts a-again! K-kuya Cay! Kuya Renze! H-help m-me! Ah M-mom! D-don't leave!"

"I'm not happy with this family anymore, i'm sorry." And from there my surroundings turn black and my mom start to walk a-away.

"M-mom i-im b-b-begging, don't l-leave u-us!" I remember now, this is the scene when m-mom left u-us.

"K-kuya Cayden, kuya Renze! P-p-please help m-me, ah! I-i'm scared, aahh! I-it h-hurts k-kuya!"

The pain get worst at halos napaluhod nako. Nasaan bako?! Ah! Damn it!

"K-kuya p-please help m-me! I d-don't wan't t-this please! Ahh! D-Damn! M-mom! Dad! K-kuya Cay, Kuya Renze! W-where are you?!"

Sa pag tagal ko sa sitwasyon na yun isa lang ang nararamdaman ko at yun ay.......takot.

I-ito....ito yung bagay na iniiwasan ko na, t-tapos na to e-eh...p-pero bakit ito na n-naman?

I keep on crying because of pain. "P-please s-someone s-save me, i-i d-don't wan't this, p-please!"

"SI-YEON!" Napabalikwas ako ng bangon at ramdam ko ang panginginig ng buo kong katawan.

"K-kuya—" i don't know why but i just felt like i wan't to hug my brothers.

"Shhh, it's okay sis." Kuya Renze said and gently wipe my tears.

Sobrang sikip ng dibdib ko, a-ayoko nun.

"I d-don't wan't t-that, i-its j-just a d-dream b-but i can feel e-everything, k-kuya a-ayoko n-na n-nun, a-ayoko na s-sa s-sakit k-ko!"

CAYDEN CODWELL P.O.V.

"I d-don't wan't t-that, i-its j-just a d-dream b-but i can feel e-everything, k-kuya a-ayoko n-na n-nun, a-ayoko na s-sa s-sakit k-ko!" Si-yeon keep on crying. She's scared, maybe because she was traumatized, i pity my sister.

"No, listen sis, you're okay now hmm? We'll make sure that you're fine, me and kuya renze is here okay? Whatever on your dream is, forget it, its all in the past, we're okay now baby sis." I don't know what to say maybe because i know that its really hard for her to forget everything, she suffered a lot since she was young.

"Here drink water first." Renze gave her a glass of water and so she drink it.

"Do you wan't to eat? Breakfast is ready, you haven't eaten anything since last night, ang haba na ng tulog mo." renze ask, she nod in responsed at sinabing mag aayos lang siya And by that, lumabas na kami ni renze ng kwarto niya at bumaba.

"What happen yesterday?" I ask pertaining to what happen to si-yeon .

"Misunderstanding kuya, si-yeon thought na gusto talaga siyang ipahamak nung dalawa maybe because they accidentally drop the remote connected to the bomb." I sighed deeply as i sat on the sofa, tumabi naman sakin si renze.

"We can't blame her, after what happen before i'm sure she's having a trust issue." Renze turn into silence, well yeah he's always silent but now is different. "Is there a problem?"

He shrug and sigged."Nothing, its just that she keep on telling me not to hate jacob and kelsey but here she is having a hard time forgiving them."

I laughed a bit because he sounds so problematic."its okay li'l bro i'm sure she'll be okay soon, btw speaking of kelsey, move-on kana ba?"

He didn't answer but instead he stand up and start to walk to the kitchen but before he left he answered my question;

"Nah, but i need to." Awts mag kakapatid talaga kami, Mga hindi napili.

CHANDRIA CODWELL

I wash my face and change my clothes into an oversized black shirt and a black pants, i also put my hair into messy bun before i wen't downstair.

I go straight to the dining area and there i saw my brothers."Good morning!"

I greeted them, trying to make my voice sounds jolly."good morning too baby sis." Kuya cay greeted back while preparing the table.

"Morning li'l sis." Kuya Renze greeted.

I sat on the left side of kuya cayden, he's sitting on the aisle while kuya Renze is sitting on his right side.

"Do we still have berries?" I ask them. Not to mention but we three love berries, its our favorite.

"Yeah, you wan't me to get some?" Kuya Renze offer and so i smiled and nod.

"Hand me the files later Si, ako na lang ang tatapos nan." Kuya Cay said that make me look at him.

"Kuya i'm fine, i can handle this." He sighed in defeat and so i smile at him. "You still have a lot of works to do kuya, and inaasikaso mo pa yung mga gagawin natin sa Palawan right?"

"Speaking of palawan, kailan tayo aalis?" Kuya Renze ask.

"I still have things to do before we go there so maybe after 3 days? Let's also wait until Si recovered from her wounds."

"Who's going with us?" I ask as i start eating.

"All of them i guess?" I stared at him that caught her attention."w-what? You're scaring me by your stare baby sis."

"Huh? A-ah nothing." He chuckled.

We finished our food at nag kanya-kanyang pwesto sa salas ng bahay namin. I still need to gather information from the one who'm i eliminated yesterday, i need to know who is he working with and what's their reason for targeting my Companies.

I'm busy checking the files when i remember What my brother said earlier.

Palawan? So i'm going to see them again.

I'm glad because its almost one year since i last visited them. May be i can buy something for them? Hmm.

I stood up and went to our garden and dialed my bestfriend number. It took few seconds before she answered.

"[Yeah? What's up lady?]"

"I heard that you guys are coming with us to Palawan?" I said.

"[Ofcourse missy, i miss going to beach you know? We've been very busy din kase.]"

"Let's go shopping then? I'll wait you at the mall, 11 o'clock, don't be late Xia bye!" I hang up the call. Alam ko namang pupunta yun, si Maxia paba? Buhay nun ang shopping eh.

Btw she's the younger and only sister of Maxius Jacob, the one who i punched yesterday.

Back to the reality, i wen't inside the house and saw my brothers at the sofa. "Kuya Cay, Kuya Renze i'm going to the mall with Xia,do you wan't something?"

"Nothing sis." Kuya Cay answer and so i look at kuya Renze.

He shook his head and turn his gaze back to his laptop on his lap. I shrug my shoulder and went to my room to get my belt bag, i didn't change my outfit but i wear a prada black Combat shoes and also i pull out my bun at nag lugay nalang.

I put some face powder and a prada Red Matte lipstick, i also wear my gun pocket and inside it is obviously my gun. Its not visible since i'm wearing an oversized shirt.

When i'm contended i get my bigbike key at bumaba, nag paalam lang ulit ako kila kuya and i left.

It took me a while to reach the mall and when i reach the parking area i saw Xia sitting on the front of her lambourghini.

"Hey!" I approach her and give her a quick hug.

"Hey there, i have a surprise to you!" She said excitedly.

"What is it?" I askfuriously but she make me face the other direction where i can't see her car.

"Don't look okay? I'm gonna shoot you to death if you do." I laughed at what she said.

"Yeah, whatever Xia."

"There you go, now look!" She said and so i do.

I was stunned and i feel so happy seeing him here, i miss him so much!

"Mommy!"
