A week had passed.

Lord Bryan stood by the tall window in his bedroom, his gaze fixed on the empty horizon. His mind was restless, filled with thoughts of Mia.

No matter how hard he tried to push her out of his mind, she kept coming back, her face haunting him, her absence gnawing at his soul.

He missed her—more than he cared to admit. And today, he was done waiting.

He had made up his mind to go to her foster parents’ house and bring her back, along with their unborn children.

A deep sigh left his lips as he clenched his fists. He had let her go for too long.

“Lord Bryan?”

Phillip’s voice pulled him from his thoughts, and he turned his head slightly, his face expressionless.

“What is it, Phillip?” he asked, his voice low and composed.

“The car is ready for you to head out now,” Phillip replied, his head bowed in respect.

Bryan gave a firm nod. “Let’s go.”

Without another word, he strode toward the door, his pace determined. Every step he took carried the weight of urgency—he was d

Rolly’s eyes widened in disbelief. “What? How is that even possible? You and Bryan have never had anything to do with each other! So how could you possibly be pregnant with his child?”Fiona clenched her fists, her eyes brimming with fury and unshed tears. “Stop talking about things you don’t know, Rolly,” she snapped. “The day we caught that bitch with your boyfriend? That was the day I seduced Bryan. I made sure he had no choice but to sleep with me.” Her voice shook with rage. “But now, he denies it! He even told his mother that that bitch is carrying his child—when I’m the one pregnant for him!”Rolly felt her blood boil at Fiona’s words. “That bitch is pregnant? Oh my God. Do you think she’s gonna lie to my boyfriend too? What if she tells Michael that she’s carrying his child?” Rolly’s hands trembled as she clenched her fingers into tight fists. “I swear to God, Fiona, I’ll kill her! She’s ruined everything for us! Michael has already taken care of your so-called fiancé… now

Mia sat in the living room, wrapped in a light blanket, her body still feeling weak from the time she had spent in the hospital. She was grateful to be home, though, away from the cold, sterile environment of the hospital. The familiar scent of the house, the warmth of her space, and the quiet comfort of knowing she was safe made her feel more at ease.Mrs. Chapman sat beside her, a soft smile on her face as she watched Mia carefully. She had insisted on staying with her for a while, claiming she wanted to make sure she was completely fine before she left. Mia knew she meant well, and truthfully, she didn’t mind.“How are you feeling, dear?” Mrs. Chapman asked, reaching out to touch Mia’s hand gently.Mia offered a small smile. “Better. Still a little tired, but at least I don’t feel like I’ll collapse any second.”Mrs. Chapman nodded in understanding. “That’s good. You need to rest more. You’ve been through too much.” She paused, then sighed. “I still can’t believe what Fiona di

Mia and Mrs. Chapman were still laughing when a deep, familiar voice interrupted them from behind.“So, I’ve been forgotten just because my mother is here?”Mia and Mrs. Chapman both turned toward the doorway, and there stood Bryan, arms crossed, his signature smirk tugging at his lips. Never.”Mrs. Chapman, sitting comfortably on the couch, let out a knowing laugh. “Oh, come on now, Bryan. I was just keeping your wife company. You know, making sure she doesn’t get too bored while waiting for you to finally come home.”Bryan smirked, stepping further into the room. “And here I thought she was supposed to be resting, not laughing all day.”Mia rolled her eyes playfully and stood up, walking toward him. The night was heavy with tension as Bryan led his men into the underground tunnels beneath the city. The air was damp, filled with the scent of oil, metal, and the distant echo of dripping water. The dim glow of scattered lanterns barely illuminated their path, casting long shadows against the cold stone walls. This was a place only the most dangerous men knew existed—a world beneath the world, ruled by those who thrived in darkness.Philip walked beside Bryan, his gun in his grip, eyes scanning every corner. They weren’t alone. Figures emerged from the shadows—men with scarred faces and dead eyes, members of the underground mafia. They moved silently, their presence heavy with menace.A tall man with a thick beard and a jagged scar across his cheek stepped forward. His voice was low, gravelly.“Lord Bryan,” he acknowledged. “You don’t come here unless it’s war.” He says with a small smirk playing on his lips.Bryan’s jaw tightened. “It is. The ride back to the hotel was suffocating. The silence inside the van was thick, pressing down on everyone like a heavy weight. Bryan sat at the back, his jaw clenched so tightly it hurt. The moment Bryan and his crew arrived at the luxurious five-star hotel in Mexico, they were escorted to their respective rooms. The hotel was nothing short of extravagant, with marble floors, floor-to-ceiling windows that offered breathtaking views of the city, and soft golden lighting that gave the entire place a warm, elegant feel.Bryan pushed open the door to his suite and stepped inside. The room was spacious, with a king-sized bed neatly made with crisp white sheets, a seating area with plush sofas, and a minibar stocked with expensive drinks. A large flat-screen TV hung on the wall opposite the bed, and a door led to an en-suite bathroom that had both a bathtub and a glass-enclosed shower. He tossed his duffel bag onto the bed and stretched his arms.
