Beresford moved to her side protectively but she said nothing just stared at the Police Officer he said quietly looking at his notes,

‘The Coroner has not determined the exact time of death as yet but the Officers attending the scene think maybe it was about a week ago. Now Miss, I’m sorry but I have to ask this, when did you last see your Aunt?’

He asked solicitously patting her arm reassuringly and she looked up at him again her big blue eyes were clear and guileless,

‘I called in briefly when I returned to this country from my trip to Israel about ten days ago.’

She said quietly looking for all the world like the dutiful niece and Beresford confirmed her words,

‘I can confirm that Officer as I picked Lady Alcina up from the airport and drove her to her Aunts. We were there for under an hour and then we returned to the Castle and we have been here ever since. Is there a problem with Annabella’s death?’

He asked raising an eyebrow, the Officer shook his head,

‘I’m sorry who are you,
